just came back from bkk and used wise as much as I could but there are still a lot of downside that I think they can improve on
but overall its not bad if you don't have a CC with 0 foreign transaction fee
if you do, its better to use the CC instead of wise

I am talking about OCBC 🤦‍♀️ as mine is based upon my account balance as it is not based on card transaction limit unless you have the set controls

For Wise it differs because you haven’t swipe the maximum amount yet as it will trigger the app for verification 🤦‍♀️

Try almost the maximum limit of rm20k

I recently tried AUD6k got app verification pop up for facial recognition before only allowed to proceed

Small amounts they don’t bother much

10. IKEA Cheras parking, also able to claim free parking from cashier terminal (not sure about self checkout)
sometimes at the parking terminal need to tap 2 times then only it will work, no idea why.

yes wise card is known to be like that, their contactless fails miserably in UK, almost never success, need to use the pin instead

Yup was there a month ago and can confirm that 7e ATM works for WISE withdrawals. Prior to that, I had no luck at other random ATM’s around the city.

Revolut's users beware.

Managed to activate my card via pin (4 digits).

Subsequently able to paywave.

Hope can use paywave in uk (tube) and europe few months from now.
