Thank you so much for this! So the error has already been rectified? Though from Malaysian's perspective, Wise still doesn't have borderless account, I only got it when i switch my location to Singapore (cheeky little trick I learnt on YouTube lols!).

Not sure if this is deem illegal / unprotected in the eyes of BNM? Not sure if there are any ramification for this.

Just tried to open a Wise Borderless Account. It does seem that the borderless account feature is no longer available in MY.

Now borderless account feature is disabled in MY.

Is it possible to receive money from overseas by providing local bank details without a Transferwise account?

(In other words, giving my local bank details to a foreigner with a Transferwise account)

Yes if you give your Malaysian bank account they can send you money as they have license to received money. They are also licensed to send money out.

existing user shouldn't be affected, just new user couldn't have it anymore. I still can use it from time to time.

Where do you get this information? If this is just your speculation, better don't put it here to confuse the others.

He's anti TransferWise cause they close his account without reason. Cause he use his account for crypto.

But is there any terms that mentioned the account cannot be used for crypto? I can see many are using it.

Brother, dont simply claim I used for crypto ....You just used your own justification and the reason is unknown. Dont simply justify it.

If you want to get the reason and challenge me, please contact Wise and get them to tell the reason. Otherwise, dont always state that reason I used crypti and they closed me.

Otherwise, keep your mouth shut!
