I bought the 2020 fabric version... so far after 9 months still ok... 9 months of sitting everyday after work and almost all day during weekends... will try to update again after 1 year+... my comment on the fabric version is it like to collect dust and a bit hard to clean it... since I'm using in a non-aircond room that's the main reason I go for the fabric version...

I almost ended up buying earlier this year, but one of my colleagues actually told me it’s uncomfortable and does not help with his existing back pain. After a bit of research, looks like it’s more hype over function. Should’ve poured those marketing money into designing a better chair.

that's pretty normal for almost any PU leather. it's not real leather so definitely will crack after some time

people really should research what they are buying first instead of just throwing money and expect it to work. real good leather don't come cheap! SGD500 is too low of a price if you expect them to use real leather!

PU leather sure break eventually. It's cheap to make and those companies call it gaming chair just to make lots of money from ignorant customers.

I bought IKEA Markus chair, RM550, comes with 10 years guarantee on the frame, and uses real leather for the seat. Used for more than 3 years now and still like new

Bought the same secretlab chair few years back.
Same problem. Very bad peeling. Makes the floor dirty every time someone sat on it. Ended up throwing it away. Definitely will avoid like plaque

Yes the black leather version. I clean/polish the leather once a year or so. I don't even sit in air-cond room so it has lots of sweat, the leather is still in very good condition.

But now I smart already I use a seat cover and my bum is not so sweaty biggrin.gif

Secretlab chair memang sucky low quality for its price. But it depends as well. If you use in aircon room all the while then ok. the moment u use it in room temperature room, then gone case. Especially if you are the type that sweat on your inner legs and butt. The sweat is the one that cause it to slowly peel off.

Anyway, now using TT Racing Duo V3 chair. RM400 on shopee. Can say its damn good and worth its price. Oh please avoid Ikea chairs. Overpriced crap .

Right. I didnt have any reference before I buy. If I would have know, I would have bought markus chair at around 1/3 of the price. I bet the chair could last longer than this patethic quality chair.
