QUOTE(Hornet @ Aug 4 2007, 09:11 PM) F***ing Alonso waited for Kimi to cross the line and he went out infront of Kimi's 2nd hot lap. That guy should be ban from F1 wahahaha.... you are totally wrong. Kimi suppose to be faster than hamilton at least on his last lap bcoz kimi had pitted twice where as hamilton managed to pit twice but his Qualifying 3 can said ends in his 2nd pit coz he cant even get a run after tat due to the time limit ended. As conclusion, McLaren are slightly faster than Ferrari. oh ya, and for the bold part, all the cars do not have an electronic map that shows the location of other cars. So how alonso knows kimi will cross the line at the time he exit the pitlane? |

He should be shown the exit door by Ron. It's pathetic. He can't beat Lewis and had to hold him up. |

If alonso keep braking during the fuel burning phase i dont think its unsportsmanlike, Kimi can overtake alonso if he is slow. I didnt post this as a fans of alonso, but honestly i prefer hamilton more than alonso.Hindering your competitor is an offense against FIA rule. Hindering your own team mate? Pole controversy in Hungary.
Fernando Alonso has taken pole position for the Hungarian Grand Prix - but only after appearing to scupper McLaren team-mate Lewis Hamilton's bid by delaying the Briton in the pit-lane. While the Spaniard went on to record the fastest time of the third qualifying session, Hamilton missed the chequered flag by four seconds, preventing him from replying after topping both the opening phases of qualifying. It's not about braking, it's brake testing, which they intentionally brake earlier than the normal braking point. But it doesn't matter, Ferrari have handling issues anyway and the car isn't a front row car this week. And just for a point you mention in McLaren thread, it's not about others bashing McLaren on this incident. Nobody bash McLaren on this one. Look at how furious Ron is. |

QUOTE(faris21 @ Aug 4 2007, 09:20 PM) Hamilton misses out after pit-lane confusionMcLaren's Lewis Hamilton was left frustrated in qualifying at the Hungaroring after he was forced to wait in the pit lane behind team mate Fernando Alonso. While Alonso went on to secure pole position, the delay meant Hamilton left the pits too late for a final flying lap. Both drivers had entered the pits in the closing stages of Q3. However, a lengthy stop for Alonso - with the Spaniard appearing to sit motionless for several seconds even after the lollipop had been raised - meant Hamilton was forced to queue behind the champion. By the time Hamilton rejoined the circuit there was insufficient time for him to complete his out-lap before the chequered flag fell. He had dominated qualifying to that point, going fastest in Q1 and Q2 and holding provisional pole until Alonso's final run, which Hamilton was left powerless to challenge. In the post-qualifying press conference, neither Alonso nor Hamilton would be drawn on details concerning the delay. The former claimed the team had held him back to gain better track position, while the latter suggested the interviewer should ask his team. McLaren boss Ron Dennis told pit-lane reporters that the team would discuss the matter.formula1.com |
