I’m light phone user, frequently dealing with WhatsApp, email or social media. I appreciate the user experience and convenience provided by iOS.
iPhone 8 battery capacity is still a standard among other phones, that is 3000 mah above.
On the other hand, iPhone se 2 has reduced to 1821, which is my current concern. Don’t think anyone would get iPhone 8, considering you get better future proof at current iPhone se and longer iOS continuation upgrade over time.
The iPhone SE 2020 has the same battery capacity of the 8, 1821mAh. You are probably talking about the iPhone 8 Plus, but that too had a battery capacity just below 3000mAh. Anyway, new iPhones 8 and 8 Plus have been discontinued and are no longer available for sale on Apple's website. Some retailers may have leftover stocks though.
From the video above i see se2020 most of the time is better than XR....XR wins a few....but i think overall the se is better...but the 11 is just another level...want the best camera, dont cheap..
Yeah, so in actual fact, the SE will kill iPhone XR sales
Now Apple users can’t claim resale value as a buying point anymore. First time I see Apple canabalizing it’s own products.
As someone who buys too many phones, I would say that "resale value" should never be a consideration when it comes to purchasing phones, but in general Apple phones still have better value as the street price (i.e. the lowest price you can find from online or offline sellers) is not much lower than the RRP as opposed to say Samsung, with their S20 series obtainable at RM700 cheaper off RRP within two months of launching.
The iPhone 8 is an older product and Apple just wants to kill it off. But I do agree the SE will cannibalise their own product - the iPhone XR which is still available officially on their website. It's got better battery life than the new SE, but the SE has the newer processor and almost identical camera and is cheaper.
I think still worth the wait for the cheapest iPhone 12 later this year based on the rumor of its similar body size, bigger screen size, probably bigger battery capacity, dual camera, price and 5G capability
Yes, if not in a hurry, waiting is good, coz even if the 12 is too expensive, the 11 will get a price cut. The 11 is a pretty capable phone.

Yup, pity that battery size SMALL too !
Otherwise would be a confirm runaway winner.
I think it'll still be a runaway winner for the folks with light to moderate usage patterns, maybe not so in Malaysia coz RM2k is still a lot of money given the current situation.
Thanks, but the store indicates they dont ship during MCO, and they didn't even update the latest MCO date on their page..
Was eyeing on Spigen but none in stock.
Ya, lots of deliveries a bit screw up during this MCO. I think you can now walk in to selected Apple resellers and just buy them physically as they started operating already.
