I think what the Bros and Sis here would all agree, the realm of Supernatural actually not that scary because only minority of people are privy to this world, where else the Human realm is much scarier, and what is the scariest? That would have to be Humans using supernatural means to get what they want.

I wanted to ask this cause I'm curious. Some countries I feel at peace and at home while others that are supposed to be safe and beautiful, I don't really feel comfortable in.

So I'm just wondering if our past lives or something affects things like this?

A haunted hotel can be a really terrifying experience for normal people. Normally the spirits are just messing with you. This is also due to the fact that they might have claimed the rooms or floor as their territory. As long as they are normal spirits and not vengeful spirits, then it's ok. Vengeful spirit is a bit more mafan right ladytarot99 . Vengeful spirit is out to physically harm people, normally by scaring you or enticing you into a dangerous situation.

To be honest, a lot of hotels have spirits, just that people do not sense them, so check in, do your normal stuff and check out. If some of you all want to go and try a haunted hotel, go to Grand Hyatt Taipei...confirm you will not regret it.

Ah then it must be, somehow i do think my brother is blessed in many ways and perhaps my ancestors also put extra protection? Haha I feel like whenever he wants something, it is easily achieved with no effort, where by i have to work for it and be rewarded lol.
Talking about Feng Shui on a person's life, my friend went to Melaka to see 1 feng shui master and apparently shes very accurate on his life reading as no info of his background was brief to her. She combined feng shui reading along with tarot cards and she can tell exactly the very detail my friend's parent even health conditions on what are the do's and dont's. Upon reading, she can determine how many guardian force are looking after you. Is there a concept on this as well?

It is important to buy a place that the FS is suitable for you, sometimes it may be good FS for one but not necessarily for another and sometimes the good FS doesn't necessarily flow to you.

Another thing, a home with a bad FS doesn't necessarily mean it is bad as there are many things that can be done to improve the FS.

Finally one thing to note, just because the house has excellent FS, it does not mean that you can just let it be, it does require maintenance and upkeep.
They are standard humans. Some have the natural ability to zap your good energy away some have seen mediums to have that ability.

Both our children I brought them out when they were 5 days old, brought to a church and then for a meet with the paediatrician. 2 weeks old brought to go long distance in a car to be by an ocean.

Some houses or more usually the land have an excellent FS to it, anyone that owns and or stays there usually would benefit from the good FS. Some the FS is only good for the owner but no one else (This is definitely the case with many commercial buildings)

There are some houses that due to some characteristics of it such as the direction it faces, the main decorative materials or even the numbers it will be good FS for some people because most likely the direction or the numbers match them therefore it would normally be good for them but for someone else it would be just a normal place or it could even be a bad place. There are some houses that the FS is only good up until a certain time for the owner, usually after 2 cycles of the zodiacs (meaning rat to rat till the next rat year) and would then require either renovations or in some cases a complete rebuild and usually when it is rebuilt the position of the main door would be amended.

Maintenance and upkeep is just what it means, keeping the house tidy and neat is often a good practice, doors and the center part of the house often requires things to boost or balance the elements, these could be things such as crystals etc.... have a horseshoe above your door? Make sure that thing is kept clean. Garden? Has any tall trees grown in front of your house? Prune it to make sure it isn't blocking light and air flow. Dead branches?? Get rid of it. Dead leaves?? Keep those outside your compound or get rid of it. Grass has lots of brown spots? Remove it and let it regenerate. (Some grass types it is a good practice every 5 years to cut it till soil level so all the browned out ones are removed. Leaky taps and pipes?? Address them. Blown light bulbs? Either remove the lamp or replace the bulb. Holes in the wall? Cover it especially if it is in your bedroom or work area within the house. Rotting wood? Repair it.... this is especially important for certain elements especially if you are a "fire" character as rotting and wet woods zap your fuel. Rust on metal surfaces? Sort it out. Creeper plants taking over your walls?? Remove it. Same goes for moss growing on your walls. Drains?? Make sure they are clean especially the ones that surrounds your compound. Stagnant water or ponding within your compound? If it is a grass area sort it out, cemented or stone/tiled area just keep it clean so algae or mold doesn't grow. Cracks on the walls, floor or ceiling? Fix it. The other thing to watch out for is the surroundings, any new buildings, a renovation the neighbor did and very often a tree from the neighbor, are any parts of the neighbor's tree coming into your compound? Cut it off, especially if it is a root.
Interesting, last year and year before last the main troubles weren't really to do with my own real estate investments but more along the lines of very very difficult clients that were demanding truffles for their projects but wanted to pay peanuts. The other troubles were with the wife.... had several wars with her including a big one in the early part of last year which ironically was due to a shithole house which used to belong to her father.

This year seems good since CNY other than I have 14 houses that I need to sell and haven't had a viewing..... need to sell it off so could buy a house in French Quarter.

i have another encounter i don't know this one is human or something else. so gonna ask you guys for opinions.

i think i was like maybe 18 to 20 years old that time. everyday go out yum cha or whatever until early morning 3am or 4am. but this day came back around like 6am or slightly later, sun going to start coming out but still dark.

my friend drop me off at my house gate (same gate where i smell the flower smell). he drove off i open the outside gate. after i close the gate and about to go in the house door one pak cik call out to me. looks like maybe 60s to 70s. wearing sarong, no shoes barefoot and carrying like a cloth bag. also it was lightly raining.

so i went to see what he wanted, he looked like a normal pak cik, no weird feeling, not scared, not threatening but i was a bit confused why he's there so early morning.

he told me he walk from dunno where damn far away to look for his kids. he was askar before. he spoke to me for a few minutes then he ask if he can come in and rest inside the compound or not? i was a bit worried i don't know if this one human, robber, or something else so i told him this house i rent, i don't know if the owner will be ok or not. i told him i give him an umbrella and there is a surau nearby like 500m away and showed him the direction. he ask again i say cannot, not my house - which is not a lie la, my parents house ma.

then he took the umbrella and walked off. i don't know if he went to the surau or not, i was tired already. went in wash up shower and tidur.

The sleep paralysis that I have been getting is getting worse recently.

Usually I won’t be able to get up only but recently I have been feeling as if someone is disturbing my legs or my back.

Any idea how to reduce or get rid of this?

Yup that is a common issue and one reason why many T20s utilize foreign architects for their bespoke homes, the best ones in SEA region are Indonesian and Thai ones as they are best at adapting good design with customs and culture.

Malaysian ones? They either design to their ego or what is easiest for the contractor to build or for best land utilization. Also find most of them can't get out past what their books taught them.

Western ones? Those tend to be either too much form or too much function.

The ones from China or north east Asia tend to be bad designers of houses where land size isn't an issue.

I'm one of those lucky people that don't have problems like Sleep Paralysis....even when there are spirits around the hotel. Normally I just tell them "if you don't bother me, I won't bother you"...one funny thing, I was once overseas in Melbourne, staying at a Hotel named " .......... on the Park", was staying on the executive floor, when I about to go into the room, saw one Spirit hanging around the foyer..I just told it the same thing but don't know why, I added "Gday Mate"

On the 3rd night at the hotel, the local branch treating dinner, and boy did we drink....and normally everyday I got up at 6.30am to get ready. That morning, slept thru my alarm, until I felt someone gently slapping my thighs....then I woke up, saw my watch 7.30am...damn....late liow. Before I left the room, I said "Thank you"...came back that night, bought 1 bottle of beer and some Fish and chips, before going to bed, I opened the beer and the packet of Fish and Chips and said "This if for you, my treat" and I went to sleep.

The next morning I left a note to room service, please get rid of the beer and the fish and chips.
