Yeah, I posted the video before. However I think the lowest specs just dont cut it. The highest specs which includes a 3x zoom camera with OIS is better and cost 2299rmb IIRC.

The other was Honor X10 and it features Kirin 820 with 90Hz screen. The lowest specs also just feel lacklustre and you'll need to pay extra for the highest specs.

Then you should know these are initial launching prices, prices will likely drop in the future or during sales festival. Redmi K30 Pro 6/128 (aka Poco F2 Pro) has dropped from CNY2999 to around CNY2000 and Mi10Pro also having 1K CNY drop during 618 sales

I think Mediatek has improved in leaps and bounds, so was initially glad to hear rumours that the OP Z would use the Dimensity series chipset as I had intentions to try it, but in the end it seems Qualcomm hijacked the deal with their SD765.

Anyways, MIUI still bothers me a little. It's not as clean as Realme UI.
*
Yeah, too bad...but I heard Redmi has exclusivity of Dimensity 820 (not D800 which is somehow much slower....) for few months...I also interest on how OP going to set the official price of Z series, seems like after high end battle they are going after entry 5G models...

Well the OP8 is RM2,899, so anything too close to that would make the OP Z very difficult to sell.

Unfortunately I don't think we will get those prices here.

Anyone having issue with fingerprint unlock. Seems very inconsistent. Same problem I'm facing when use C3 before. Sometimes can unlock sometimes cannot, most of the time cannot directly unlock from sleep. My 2 years old Redmi Note 5 Pro never have this issue. Haven't failed unlocking yet to this day

My Realme 6 Pro dont have this issue. Fingerprint scanner works great.
Try to clear all the fingerprint and re-register it again.

My Realme 6 also has no FP sensor issue. Maybe try a reset and if it still happens, maybe it’s time to visit the service centre.

Are you using a thick casing? If yes i can confirm its due to ur casing. If u dont mind , send a clear picture of ur casing here

I am using a casing, which is quite thick. And the FP sensor becomes quite deep in which cant capture ur FP properly.

Cant compare with redmi note 5 pro as the FP scanner is at the back.

Try to remove your casing and try again

For this phone must use slim casing as the Scanner is side mounted

Found out already why this issue happens. Its not because of faulty sensor or anything. Its because the way this clean OS lock the screen. I always using assertive circle and double tap to lock my screen, to make sure my power button have better longevity (My RN5Pro power button not functioning properly after 2 years of usage). Sometimes when I lock using either way it goes to sleep without locking. I need to wake it and lock by swiping down. So if its goes to sleep without locking I wouldn't be able to unlock it using fingerprint. I need to wake it using power button or double tap, and then locking it by swiping down. Even power button also wouldn't lock the phone if lock and unlock consecutively a few times.

Not because of casing apparently. After locking it properly, I didn't have any issue unlocking the phone. It just I need a few extra steps to lock the phone properly. Simply press power button or double tap or using assertive circle power button won't necessarily lock the phone.

Okay just found out why the phone didn't lock properly. I've been using smart lock on-body detection. So the phone will not necessarily lock if it detect movement within me. After I turn it off, the phone will simply lock using either power button or double tap or assertive circle.

This doesn't look normal. My Realme 6 can easily do 6-7 hours SOT with about that battery percentage remaining.. Have you checked the apps usage to see what is taking up power in the background?

I've had no issues on my Realme 6 though. FP unlock is faster and more reliable than my current Poco F2 Pro laugh.gif

Haha I'm thinking why buy if not used the features fully, its main selling point right? Other feature kinda similar with other phone in this price range. Plus so lazy to turn it on and off again and again.

Does your 90Hz turned all the time when you got this 6~7 hours SOT?

Yes bro, 90hz on full time. On just WiFi, I can do 10 hours SOT over two days, bro.
