out of discussion:- just want our otai2 in POC help me to settle dis prob...i oc my rig(same like my sig) to 2.4...there no prob at all...already running orthos no error for 5hours...then i try to 2.5ghz it cannot boot...then i clear cmos and boot again...it can boot...just after a few seconds my pc blank then cannot boot at all...proc fan cannot run...mobo got power in(because LED menyala)..when push power button nothing happen...already test ram no prob...right now just thinking my proc got prob...if there still anything that i missed to check????

u mean after u reset ur cmos and back to 2.0GHz,then suddenly black out with 2.0GHz?

if like that maybe mobo chipset burned alerady,chipset burned got LED menyala one.

get urself another AM2 proc and test it.

remove rams or GC see, left the proc on see got beep sound or not??? if there no beep sound mean mobo or proc problems maybe~~

ya2...black out with 2.0ghz...i want go back home and try my proc at my fren pc...if can use it mean my mobo got prob...need to rma...i want buy new mobo...u think witch want better for am2 mobo...

Get Biostar TA690G mobo cheap & overclockable, i bought for RM280 onli.

oic, so the main prob is ur mainboard??chipset burned??as zeustronic mention, biostar got high overclockability, easy bios layout and cheap also. u may consider to get biostar AM2+??

i think it will perform better than Biostar lo,and one thing,all the component that built the board has better quality.

his former mobo is abit KN9-SLI la bro...maybe he wanna try other mobo??

If u r from mainland SS Comp Prai sell Biostar mobo for AM2 & AM2+, AFAIK those mobo is not over ur budget. For TA690G is AM2 with built Graphics & for NForce560 is A2+ mobo.

hmm.. 1st time heard about ss comp..really cheap?? location??maybe can get stuff there next time..no need to go to KL if its really cheap than Lowyat like some people say..

SS price is ok d but i more recommended GZ(Bw) or PresiceP(Pg)

ss comp 1 line with PC depot prai..just about 3@4 shop from PC DEpot...that shop looks oldschool...but ok...
