oh that Coolermaster Stacker Chrome mod , ah that one seen his worklog before

i am a begineer overclocker here,

my spec are like my sig,
few question of mine...

1. why i can read the temperature of my rig except in the bios? using the biostar hardware monitor or coretemp also cant, coretemp will directly make my system reboot...

2. did tis mother board can change the ram:cpu ratio?



today i tested with,
vcore: 1.375v
vdimm: 2.2v
cpu clock : 356mhz
multiplier : 9
core speed: 3.2 gb
ram fre: 1424mhz
dram setting: 5-5-5-15-1T

I test with memtest 1.7,
it pass all test,
not yet tried the orthos,
but the memory are damn hot,
scare will burnt the ram so i restore back to default again...

1424mhz,is it stable?
yes,it will very hot because i think u feed more than 2.3vdimm already,

i used this mobo before and it can show the temp all no problemo,what's wrong with urs?

try to update the bios and see how bro.

anyway,the ratio can be adjusted.

i tested with orthos yesterday night,
it failed...

then i changed to setting below:
proc voltage: 1.4V
ram voltage: 2.2V
muliplier: 9x
bus speed: 347
rated FSB: 1387
core speed: 3.12Ghz

This passed orthos 8hours blend test...

I already updated to the latest moded bios,
and today i reformat the com,
seems same prob exist, i cant even intall the biostar ultilities such as the hardware monitor or fan control.

any other software that i can use to monitor the temperature of my system?
coretemp seems doesnt work too, make me restart when trying to open the software.

another question is izzit my PSU pulling the leg?
coz it have quit serious undervolt...
Vcore set to be 1.4V, then it become 1.392V or 1.376V(most the time during orthos)
Vdimm set to be 2.2V, then it left 2.13V only...

using the multiplier 9x, seems like my bus speed cant exceed even 360mhz,
but strange that i saw many ppl seems like easily can exceed 400mhz bus speed,
any method to help to solve this?

I saw they moded the side panel,
wonder how they add the peice of the at the side...

maybe custom made the piece using other material like plastic or steel..then paste or juz join it to the side..next put the sticker or paint..hehehe..maybe..

btw..nice..like the black one..shiny..

the yellow one painted the 300mm cross flow fan and apply at least 6 layers of paint onto the casing and the finishing of the casing is awesome.

i prefer the red one,got original taste and looks more beautiful because of the 4 wheels of the yellow one

probally is glued 1st and then apply bondo[ known as body filler] then sand paper to make it look is joined to the side panel

whats the modal of the casing? how much approx?

it's Cooler Master Stacker STC-T01 / 810

STC-T01 is much more better than 810 cause it's fully transformable from ATX to BTX,E-ATX,and it has two slot to put psu.

it has been discontinued for long time and it's almost impossible to get a new one in malaysia,made in year 2003 iirc.

luckily i still can find one in penang,new in box some more!!!

yiappie..its the great STC-T01 or simpler CMstacker..me and ace are both fans of it

i still cant decide wat colout to paint my stacker..1st i want black interior but black is too boring..think of red and outside all black but like copycat soldam casing pulak

how about black interior and red for exterior?? quite hard to find perfect colour matching huh~
