should a newbie like me go for automated overclocking (the bios has this option) or manually ';..;'

why? do u mean manually overclock is more effective den auto overcloak?
my auto can increase speed by 15,30 and 45% i think =__= my com become veli hot after i set it to 30%

out of discussion:- just want our otai2 in POC help me to settle dis prob...i oc my rig(same like  my sig) to 2.4...there no prob at all...already running orthos no error for 5hours...then i try to 2.5ghz it cannot boot...then i clear cmos and boot again...it can boot...just after a few seconds my pc blank then cannot boot at all...proc fan cannot run...mobo got power in(because LED menyala)..when push power button nothing happen...already test ram no prob...right now just thinking my proc got prob...if there still anything that i missed to check????

yeah...my proc dun have any prob at all...can use at my fren pc...my mobo got prob....need to buy new mobo...cannot waiting for rma...huhu...

Btw, Zeustronic, i quoted those specs cz got forumer sell for very cheap mar. E6850 for RM650, Black Pearl for RM6XX. So just help to do some promotion here. Actually that fella has an Xpertvision 8800GTS up for sale for RM750 only, but grabbed very fast d lor.

Quad is not really fully utilised yet. When you go for Games like Bioshock maybe you see the difference lar, but an e6850 clocked to the max ain't that bad after all.
