I doubt it will outperform the 2900Pro.
The GT was meant to replace the 320Mb 8800GTS with a lower price to compete with the 2900Pro, so theoritically it won't even beat it's own elder brother the 320Mb GTS.
We just use some common logic here, (this is my own assumptions

) The nvidia G Series performce rank is GTX>GTS(introduced starting 8 series)>GT>GS.
It just doesn't make sense if Nvidia were to break the chain there.
Anyway, lets wait till Karom lay his hands on a GT and let us know the review.
IF GT outperform 2900Pro and 8800GTS 320mb, i think i would most likely consider it provided the price si what stated now.
