You need to register the drone first. You cannot fly inside cities. Sapporo , Otaru ...any cities. Outside of cities yes. such as Lake Toya but cannot fly into Lake Toya nearby ToyakoOnsen town.
Big open space, yes. As long got building around then no.

Most Japan SL Train are seasonal or expensive.
The cheapest and most frequent schedule SL train in whole Japan are actually in Nikko.

From Shimo-Imaichi Station 下今市駅 daily got 4 schedule train to Kinugawa-Onsen Station 鬼怒川温泉駅

If you got Nikko Pass All Area, Just need top up additional 760 Yen for seat reservation.

My personal recommended time was 13:30. Morning spend on Nikko and afternoon experience SL train ride to Kinugawa-Onsen.

Tokyo / Osaka / Kyoto .... 365 days 24 hours also peak period.

If only Lake Kawaguchiko area then Fujisan Fujigoko Passport. This passport give you u limited bus ride around Lake Kawaguchiko.

Fuji Hakone Pass on will covered everything in Lake Kawaguchiko, Gotemba , Hakone. Limited Express train from Shinjuku to Hakone Yumoto need pay extra seat reservation fees.

Kawaguchiko area no car rental. You had to rent at Tokyo City and drive to Kawaguchiko. Make sure you you get the ETC package.
Welcome Suica still avalilable for tourist, but it can't be refund the balance credit inside the card.

Yamadaya Hotel checked in time was 3pm. If you reach Kawaguchiko at morning, you can tour around the lake then only go over to hotel. Bus stop just right infront of hotel.

Because you choose pay at hotel. Since you didn't booked thru CC, means no downpayment is made and Hotel in Japan cannot take your infomation due to strict privacy. Check in time will be 3pm, by 3.30pm you no show, automatic will be given to others.

APA hotel check out time are 10am. Plz beware.

TNG pay can used in Japan via Alipay, only convienece store got QR scanner machine. TNGo payment only provided barcode, no scan ability means you can't scan the seller QR code. One more placed can used TNG was Kura Sushi chain. They got QR scanner machine.

Since you go with tour, transpotation and entrance fee already included. Shopping at Store / Mall 99.9% can used CC, Convinence store can used CC / TnG, emm......Cash only needed at small street food snack stall only. 10k - 15k Yen will be enough.

Japanese taste palate & Foreiners taste palate are totally diffrences. High score in Tabelog usually get low score on Google Review vice versa.

If you booked thru klook, you need find your own way to Car Rental Company spot.

Japan Law, all car rental cannot park thier car or set company inside airport. Inside airport got Car Rental Booth, those booth only arrange company car pick you up to the rental company which is normally 1-2km away from Airport.

Not really. So far I only saw Kura Sushi got QR scanner machine. TNG via Alipay only provided QR code. Seller must have QR scanner which most of seller in Japan only got QR Code.
Most of high end , Michelin star , F&B food chain accept CC. Most of famous restraurant you can find online, vlog , blog are normally accept CC.
