QUOTE(marfccy @ Feb 13 2025, 07:09 PM) theres always assholes on both sides eh? thats why many people are now posting video proof where its not gaijin's fault when shit happens. but the comments section as usual will always blame gaijins despite having proof There are both sides on a coin as they said. Just at toyo lake and almost all prc ppl brought their big suitcase onto the public bus, some alone even have one big backpack and 2 big suitcase wtf, and putting the backpack on the seat.i've said it many times before also from my few trips down JP, in Tokyo just go to Shinjuku you can see how the locals behave already. dont need to step so far Making a lot of ppl can’t even walk to the back and sit. Even the bus driver is screaming to all these ppl but they don’t care. Really speechless haiz |

Now at Hakodate, tbh not much to do. Already went to all the famous places in 2 days, still left 3 days to go lol. The road here is even harder to walk than Sapporo with all the ice melting. Lucky Pierrot was delicious though, and very big portion. One meal can last one day
For some reason all the people decided to stand on the centre of the road to take pictures, really smh. Cars honking but nobody give af. ![]() This post has been edited by HumanExtinction: Feb 16 2025, 03:26 PM |

QUOTE(NXaqua @ Feb 16 2025, 03:52 PM) Hi fellow travelers, I took batik air early this month, and the service was pretty good. Plenty of legroom too, but need to prepared something to get past the boredom onboard lol. Next mid March, planning to drop by at Utsunomiya, then sight seeing at Yamagata. Will be using either Scoot or Batik Air, landing at Narita airport. Need some update on the data plan, preferable using esim or sim card from Malaysia or Japan? Thank you What provider you with? I’m using digi roaming, everyday 3gb internet and will refreshed daily. I believe celcom and maxis have the same roaming plan also. |

QUOTE(virgoguy @ Feb 24 2025, 04:43 PM) I just went to all these places 3 weeks ago, car is preferable than public transport. If without car a lot of places will be very headache to go to. Parking and gas are not cheap though so better prepare some budget for both. virgoguy liked this post

QUOTE(RegentCid @ Feb 26 2025, 08:48 AM) Japanese prefer public transport because they can walk, Malaysian can't. 5km radius from Station for Japanese = Walkable. Ya we are so so lazy, even a 5 mins walk from the hotel to the station my mom already complaint why so far, why don’t want stay nearer like a min to the station. She would also nag me to take taxi for a 10-15 mins walk to a location. Sometimes travelling with family/friends can be very troublesome too. From Sapporo Station they will walk until Susukino Zone From Tokyo Station walk until Tsukiji From Shinjuku walk to Harajuku. yellowpika liked this post

QUOTE(tzxsean @ Apr 13 2025, 12:19 PM) Air Asia is reliable since they only have one flight per day, the chances of cancelling is vey low but there are slight delay sometimes. The problems are that the seat is very uncomfortable and timing not that great. But land in haneda is very convenient.QUOTE(kenzotaj @ Apr 13 2025, 10:12 PM) Sifus.. i got an upcoming trip to Tokyo in early June2025 Nah, almost all the jap people do not give a fuck, yes having a precautions mindset is good but life’s goes on. You can’t control nature. Just like you cannot control whether or not you will die in a car accident tmr. There are rehearsals here and there on what to do during an earthquake but it’s pretty chill.Recently many warning news of looming Earthquakes and Mount Fuji eruption simulation, a bit out of ordinary.. especially these are warning from jap gomen themselves ? preemptive warning .. Do they know something others dont.. My question is .. if i buy now the Travelling Insurance say AIG covering the upcoming two weeks trip in June.. If really has disaster strucked in Tokyo before flying there. Can i claim back the flight, Booking.com accomodation or Klooks itinerary paid ??? You will only be in Japan for a very short period of time, imagine the jap ppl who lived there their whole life. Where would they go lol? So just go and enjoy your travel. No need to worry about all this and that. If really happens during your travel then just think it as gods will. QUOTE(Human Nature @ Apr 27 2025, 10:06 PM) Do I need to go to the Suica card app on iphone everytime I want to tap at the gate, or I can just leave it on locked screen? Add suica/pasmo card on your apple wallet and just tap every time you pass through the gate. 99% of the time works fine whether lock or unlock. Same if you want to pay something with suica on vending machine or at convenience store. Even if your phone no battery still can tap as long your suica got money. No need to download the suica app. This post has been edited by HumanExtinction: Apr 27 2025, 11:50 PM Human Nature liked this post

QUOTE(tientien @ Apr 30 2025, 02:13 PM) Guys, just checking if anyone had experience taking AA into Haneda lately, how's the immigration crowd? Manage to catch the last train into city? I booked airport hotel but very expensive, so thinking if doable I want head to city. landed Narita T2 last month, it looks me almost 2 hours to clear immigration n customs😇 2 days ago i flew back from haneda to kl and noticed a lot of ppl arriving cause now golden week... also depends on when you go too i guess. when i arrived back in feb immigration very smooth, less than 10 mins already out from the airport.the AA i took was delayed from arriving from kl to haneda, hence when i back need to wait until 2.30am... the plane arrived at 1 am. you can check the history here: https://www.flightaware.com/live/flight/XAX522 ![]() This post has been edited by HumanExtinction: May 1 2025, 03:29 PM |

QUOTE(underscore_lee @ May 1 2025, 05:51 PM) Hi guys, I’m doing a solo trip to Tokyo and trying to find some cheap accommodation, preferably below rm200 per night since just solo. Ok with communal shower & toilet but prefer to have my own room so that I can unload luggages. Check airbnb hostel for cheap stay, i saw some one night 150 only.. but beware of thin walls and small roomThinking of trying 1 night at capsule hotel too - any good recco? Would prefer to stay close to city (probably ginza, Shibuya, shinkuju areas?) so I can just walk back after exploring and not confined to train timing. Appreciate your help! underscore_lee liked this post
