Waiting for the release and will definitely get one from you.  rclxms.gif

sure thing, if this new architecture, it might take time to learn the code base and blobs, see if inject MIB is possible,

if not, TIME and Maxis or ISP use 100% Huawei/Nokia can't use 😔

like I said, the box is use same hardware as PON Stick,

so, effectively like PON Stick with HiSGMII Ethernet Converter

you would see this on the ONU Box:
user posted image

so,

ONU Box = PON Stick + HiSGMII Ethernet Converter

performance wise, should be same

I also looking for alternative to this RTL based, perhaps looking at EcoNet SoC

ohhh understand

So PON Stick same hardware right
ONU BOX wont make overheat compare small PON Stick sometime overheat depend

because ONU BOX air flow can't be overheat like huawei BTU

i will buy you later because i am waiting tm offer 2GBPS once i get 2GBPS then i will deal you

i hope you making POTS coming soon right

i am not urgent hehehe due waiting offering 2GBPS

mine 500Mbps RM119 so cheap

so lucky get RM119 for 500Mbps xD

yea, same hardware, just make it bigger, act like plugin to Converter and air flow.

2.5G ONU with POTS is my plan indeed, just need to make sure the firmware flexible enough, if not, compatibility will severely limited because TM won't white listed 😅

if anyone who have close to higher up TM, I would like to meet and register the device into the system. huhuhu.

I bought it, PAP2T, wait for arrive

also, 2.5G ONU with POTS, apparently can't beat Realtek in term of faking OMCI Info to OLT

but EcoNet SoC has better spec, firmware seem not flexible like Realtek/Intel

SoC Realtek Econet
CPU MIPS R3000, 1-core 400MHz (Sony PlayStation One) ARM 2-core 750MHz
RAM 32MB DDR3 (build-in) 256MB DDR3 (external)
Flash 64MB 128MB
NNI PON, HiSGMII, 1000Base-T PON, 2500Base-T, 1000Base-T, POTS

Yes, PON Stick & ONT Bridge use same CPU like PSOne game console rclxms.gif

what ever it is, need to try first

Update:

Software Engineer said to me the EcoNet SDK doesn't allow OMCI modification, no flexibility like Realtek, Intel & MaxLiner

I get the sample one first if can be reverse engineering in hardway

Or I need ask TM to white list it if they willing to (high probability condition: no)

I did post some Reverse Engineering on HG8240H5 that Unifi have:
https://github.com/Anime4000/Hacking_Huawei_HG8240H5_ONT

CODE

Linux version 3.10.53-HULK2 (ci@SZXRTOSCI10000) (gcc version 4.7.1 (SDK V100R005 C00SPC030B050) ) #1 SMP Fri Apr 13 19:54:43 CST 2018
CPU: ARMv7 Processor [414fc091] revision 1 (ARMv7), cr=18c53c7d
CPU: PIPT / VIPT nonaliasing data cache, VIPT aliasing instruction cache
Machine: Hisilicon A9, model: HISI-CA9

That EcoNet SDK are not flexible as Realtek, I need find a way even this will take 1 to 3 years

In the official unifi thread, someone link to v2.0.3 of the onr fw.
I already installed it and running for 5 days now in bridge mode no longer encounter speed drop to 300mbps

Soon GE800 can support GPON Stick

tldr, no official support 1310/1550nm 2500 Base-X, thus modifying EEPROM as per Linux Kernel defined:
CODE

/* If we haven't discovered any modes that this module supports, try

 * 1310nm/1550nm) are not 1000BASE-BX compliant due to the differing
 * wavelengths, so do not set any transceiver bits.
 *
 * Do the same for modules supporting 2500BASE-X. Note that some
 * modules use 2500Mbaud rather than 3100 or 3200Mbaud for
 * 2500BASE-X, so we allow some slack here.

sad to hear, router you use has exploit:

more on this

If D-Link didn't care about security as TM pay cheap cheap, only way to save it by dumb down D-Link ONR to D-Link ONT Bridge, remove all cloud app, isp remote management, wifi, etc...

well, ISP equipment never been secure in first place...
