Which part similar? X90h blew x85g out of the water

X95h won't be coming to msia.

Not specs/performance 😅

More like choices and pricing wise

Is there a 2020 X85H here?

Huh... "Made in Malaysia"!! But how come it's not cheaper in Malaysia? sad.gif
*
yeah...Sony happily advertised Lets Support Made in Malaysia products, but we are not getting the competitive prices of a "local product" whistling.gif rolleyes.gif

#SonyMalaysia please take note thumbup.gif

Actually for 55 inches 90H price, its considered really cheap. This TV was sold in Singapore with a price SGD2.1k ( after discount, equivalent to RM6.3k ).
*
55 inch price is good..no doubt.

but many prefer to have to bigger screen size...at a better price point

SG..dont need to compare ler..their buying power is strong cool2.gif

I more thing which still bugs me is the OS.. Android TV and Smart TV...

Often heard that android tv platform will be more buggier and have plenty of software related issue.. compare with Smart TV..  is this still happens often?
*
From reviews, the android os on x90h is fast/snappy.

But if u start loading external/xxx apps, etc...that would be subjective 😅

if u can afford, go x90h. its far more superior in every department compared to x80g.

i myself initially was aiming to get an oled, b9/c9. hdmi 2.1 is a must for me since i'll be getting ps5 later on. main purpose of new tv is gaming. but considering the potential of burn in, i kept asking myself whether it'll be worth it or not. my friend c8, twice got burn in within 2 years. he primarily use it on gaming/utube/netflix. thats makes me worried lol. after warranty finish, if got burn in issues, it ain't cheap to replace the panel.

then i stumbled upon some reviews on x90h. the reviewer were comparing it side by side with c9 / q80t. suffice to say, after watching the review, x90h is the most suitable tv for me lol.

price / performance of x90h is insane. definitely one of the top contender for TV of the year for 2020.
*
same here, initially looking at LG OLED, but may want to explore Full Array LCD (due to my living room bright lighting condition and price/performance), please review the unit once u got it...

i play alot of 4K UHD BDs and Netflix

well, imho...its all depends on your "use case" and budget

for casual users (casual viewing, streaming apps, normal gaming), X800H is good enough...

for enthusiast (4K/BD viewing, HT setups, streaming apps, avid gamer, need features like FALD/HDMI 2.1), X900H would be the choice (even OLED TVs if budget permits)

X80H also with...High Dynamic Range compatibility.....HDR10,HLG,Dolby Vision

Btw,
retail price difference (X80H=>X90H) for 55" is only RM500, but for 65" is RM2200 !!  rclxub.gif (75" is RM1900).
*
well, 55 inch price differences are small...just get X90H

but majority would like to get a bigger screen, and thats where the price jump is scary laugh.gif sweat.gif

I think SENQ's offer is the best now for 85X9000H.

13999 - 500 - 10%(or 12%) rebate and Free Sony WF-1000XM3

SenQ warranty is 1800+ for up to 5 years coverage.
Sony Store was giving free warranty up to 5 years. But no further free gift. Good to get from Sony Store if you want a complete peace of mind warranty coverage as Sony Warranty are more extensive and unlimited claim within that 5 years.
*
Do they have other screen sizes? Like 65 or 75?

Btw, which Sony Store give free extended warranty?

Just a curious question.  How is the x9000h atmos effect?  Is it good or just plain gimmick
*
X900H supports Dolby Atmos sound processing but it does not mean that their built-in TV speaker is going to give you the "true" Dolby Atmos experience (height/ceiling effects, real surround sounds)

better invest in a proper Surround Speakers System for that (eg 5.1.2, no soundbar please biggrin.gif unless you have no space/choice)

Hmmm... can show me what does a high speed cable means?
Saw optical cable HDMI 2.1 that is capable of 48Gbps.
Also HDMI 2.0 that is capable of 18Gbps...

Either one works? If I get the HDMI 2.1 (optical cable) but my amplifier doesn't support HDMI 2.1, will it still work?

Anybody knows?
*
if u r buying a brand new HDMI cable, just go for the latest specs which is HDMI 2.1 (the word High Speed, can be quite confusing as there are many cables also marketed as High Speed 2.0/1.4, etc)

if your devices does not support or passthrough 2.1, it will still works (but backward compatibility to 2.0/1.4 and you dont get the 2.1 goodies)

imho

1. budget
2. screen size
3. specs (based on your use case)

well, i guess you can go for 65 inch X80H (decent TV for casual use)

*
Yup..once u go big...you would not want a smaller screen size.

But viewing distance is also important.
