I installed and played Asphalt 8 on the 9000H.
Then I noticed the app used up 0.8GB storage and still downloading. The internal memory has only a few GB of free storage. Looks like will need to expand the internal memory with a USB flash drive if I am going to install/play a few games. Not keen on installing a TV box yet. But there are only 2 USB ports. 1 for HDD to play videos. Left 1 for other purpose. Mouse and KB have to be Bluetooth then, unless I install a USB hub. The mouse is much easier to navigate but no back button. This post has been edited by Marco_9x9: Oct 30 2020, 10:02 AM |

QUOTE(xpepsimnx @ Oct 30 2020, 12:01 PM) Do u wan to keep the tv for that additional years or do u prefer to upgrade newer tech? To me I prefer to upgrade newer tech. My tv 5 years ago was 1080p. Few years after that 4k is everywhere at a cheap enough price for most consumer to buy. I knew ppl that had additional warranty, n get their tv repaired n now make noise coz their wife don't allow them to buy new one coz old one still works. How? I want to upgrade to 9000H too but my 8 years plus 55" Panasonic Plasma is still going strong. My wife doesn't allow me to upgrade until it conked out. I got around my old Toshiba 37" LCD by giving it away to my mother-in-law, but this time no dice! |

So sometimes the tv kong within expected time frame is a hidden blessing. Lolz. No need spend the extra money for warranty. Just make trouble for yourself. I bought the tv already have 2 years + 1 year free warranty. 3 years feels reasonable for an upgrade |

Newer doesn't automatically means better.I still have an old Plasma and the color still beats 90% of the LED on today's market. The only thing worth changing to is an OLED and those cost a bomb. |

QUOTE(WhitE LighteR @ Oct 30 2020, 09:20 AM) Have you seen a good plasma to say that? To me, a good TV must have accurate colors especially skin tones.I have a good plasma and been looking for a new TV for some time now. 90% of the LED color are off. Sure, some like Samsung can look super super sharp and impressive like a light canon but they are totally inaccurate in color. Only a few that have more accurate colors like Sony's 9500G is good and the OLEDs. |

QUOTE(terryfu @ Oct 27 2020, 01:12 PM) Hi. Anyone bought from desa home kepong before? Thinking of getting the 85 inch kdx9000h as they have 10 percent rebate and cheapest so far (around 11.6k) with rebate and they give the free bracket. It's a pretty good price you got there. Maybe in conjunction with 11. 11? Generally do you think price will drop further after 11.11? I only need the TV mid next yearMy question is the bracket any good or not? Looks like very basic and concern about itβs holding power. |
