mine always kept below 40'c. not using fans at all...maybe my case too big with a small hardware in it (using micro ATX).... sweat.gif

maxtor 120gig diamondmax 27-30°C

both got fan underneath and running 24/7 for 4years+

not like that la bro. what i meant here, my casing is a bit big with very2 small hardware inside. only using lowend proc+onboard VGA only. whis may affect the internal temp of my case which is no other heat source other than northbridge+and proc only..... sweat.gif

nod.gif, agreed... but i do suggesting that, ideal temp for HDD 40°C and below, above than that, improving airflow/case fan cooling down the HDD should be all right... icon_idea.gif

can use everest ultimate.. or HDDlife software...

my hdisk.. 3Xseagate n 1XWD temp around 40~47.. sweat.gif that when use hdisk cage.. with fan.. buy from moderno.. if not using that cage, for sure the temp 45~55.. damn hot.. sweat.gif sweat.gif

Uh nice thread. Just wanna ask why my Seagate temp is much higher than others. The placing is very much the same as other HDD in my casing. Except the Raptor which is all alone up there being blown by a 12cm fan lol. D:

I tried once getting my HDD temperature up to 55-60c so i shut it down and restart the computer. Later on S.M.A.R.T report that one of the attribute is not OK. After that the temperature run back the usual 28-33c for some times, the attribute from S.M.A.R.T once again shows OK so i guess temperature too high isn't really good for HDD.

My pc ventilation system not bad...it's around 34-39 degree Celsius

my pc very fast get hot but very fast cool down also
one thing...how to get LCD screen cool down as fast as possible(like 15 minute)?
