huh, why so many committee? Proxy cannot be JMB member, I mean management here refer as management company.

JMB member do not need to be so many. Besides, you can vote yourself into it and only a seconder to support. No need proxies la to be a JMB member. besides, you can seek for independent (not in Act) member though. Some condo pratise this especially the high end condo. Everytime meeting they will need to call few different independent owners into the meeting.

Committee members only 5 in total, strongly voted against more by the proxies.

bro, management company do not need to be done in AGM. it is under the power of JMB to kick them out. 5 JMB members can vote them out, call for open tender and compare price. I do on my own with my board to kick previous company out.

The 5 JMB members is pre-selected by the management company that is why they have sufficient votes during the AGM.

They are a gang, they support each other. They will not kick the management out because they are chosen by the management.

The new Act allows only maximum of 2 terms for exco, meanwhile 3 terms as ordinary member. No more than that. If they stays longer, can bring this to COB

How to bring this to cob?

Those who is always very vocal against JMB during meeting usually will chicken out when owners suggest them to be part of JMB committee. All loud mouth.
