you do not need AGM to remove management company. When you said JMB is doing terrible job, most likely is the management company which is controlling from behind. As you said, most owners are not aware of the strata law. Some management company dont even know the law, and continue to suck the money from condo.

JMB member do not need to be so many. Besides, you can vote yourself into it and only a seconder to support. No need proxies la to be a JMB member. besides, you can seek for independent (not in Act) member though. Some condo pratise this especially the high end condo. Everytime meeting they will need to call few different independent owners into the meeting.

bro, management company do not need to be done in AGM. it is under the power of JMB to kick them out. 5 JMB members can vote them out, call for open tender and compare price. I do on my own with my board to kick previous company out.
