There is a link to Vista 32 driver in the first page too. Just use the corresponding inf to install on Windows Vista™.

This is not a third-party driver. It is officially released by NVIDIA but without notebook GPU support. Hence, it'll required a modified installation file (inf) to install on notebook GPUs. You should read the comments in the forum regarding any bugs or problems for the driver. I won't guarantee that the modified inf will not screw up your notebook GPU or Windows, but so far it has been perfectly working for my 8600M GT.

Usually these new drivers provide features improvement, lower temperature, and performance increases.

You could always download the WHQL-certified driver from your manufacturer's website. Current version of ForceWare released by DELL is quite good.

Hmm, as far as I know, installing drivers do not void the warranty for your DELL system.

But then again, there's always tester to test the drivers first.

Benchmark scores might decrease but actual game performance might increase. You should test out the games and if there's any increment or decrement. If you don't notice it, then just leave it that way.

You should also check to see if your notebook GPU runs any cooler. Some users report that their GPU runs cooler after installing new driver.
