Lazada will only tell you to wait for the order and reject it at your doorstep.
You can proceed to buy elsewhere. When the order finally arrive, you reject it and Lazada will return the good back to seller.
Experience this at Lazada. Inform delivery person already claim refund cannot accept order, return to seller. Lucky rider did not throw into venue. Lazada did refund payment. But Shopee stole my money.

Lazada let buyers review but Shopee will censor some bad reviews to rig their merchants to have higher scored reviewed than other e-commerce. I seen Shopee T&C that Shopee even violate their own terms and conditions.

I ordered this item advertised as READY-STOCK of about 9000-odd on 30th Jan.
Merchant didn't deliver until last delivery date. So I allowed Shopee to extend.
Merchant then create phantom shipping order in DHL system, just before extended deadline, which I believe is just to beat Shopee's extended deadline.
I asked DHL, DHL said merchant never pass to DHL, so how can DHL deliver(?).
Before cancellation, Mlmerchant responded via chat that merchant was waiting for supplier to replenish. Advertised READY-STOCK, but waiting for supplier to replenish?
In the end Shopee auto cancelled on 11th Feb since merchant never delivered for more than a week.
I'm not mad because cancelled. I got refunded anyway.
But I am mad for the merchant had been dishonest in the deal, even creating phantom shipping order to delay time.
I complained to Shopee via Merchant's Shop > Report This User and supplied screenshot from DHL website that shows the phantom shipping order and also the chat where merchant admitted no ready-stock since waiting for supplier.
But Shopee only give penalty points against the merchants for unfulfilled order "and if more than 3 times or serious enough, will bar the merchant from platform".
Me = 1 auto cancelled order
My wife's separate order to parents address = 1 auto cancelled order
Cannot be only this 2 auto cancelled.
But till this moment, I can see the merchant is still in business.
So you take Shopee unfulfilled promise to punish errant merchant with sacks of salt.
Ohwai TS ask about Lazada not Shopee.

As you can see even Oltromen have bad experience with Shopee. In fact if you google search, Shopee ... "penipu" will show up

Some Shopee merchants refuse to refund, even dispute refund when order did not arrive on time, then Shopee will not refund. So give merchant good review is cheating and encourage them to scam customers. If cannot deliver out on time, can ask customer if they can wait / extend but if cannot then return customers money. It's only fair but at Shopee merchant dispute then give customers bad review too.
Sorry you have a hard life but dishonesty will face consequences. Just like if 1mdb not face the law, they will keep ripping people off.
