Hi,

On Saturday (15 Feb 2020) I noticed that Apex Legends does not want to connect on my PS4. I did the network test on my PS4 and it keeps saying NAT failing.

My Setup:
Asus RT-AX88U
PS4 connected with LAN cable

Testing that I've done:
1) Used my TM Unifi router that came with my Fibre setup
2) Disable, enable NAT on Asus Router
3) Rebuild Database on PS4
4) Change DNS to 8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4, tried ISP DNS
5) Port reset by TM via online Chat

1-5 NAT still failing

6) Tried hotspot on my mobile (Maxis) - NAT works on PS4 and I can play Apex Legends.

Since I tried different routers and used my mobile hotspot, I think the problem is with TM Unifi. Is there a TM Unifi support person on this forum that could help me fix the problem?

Or any other suggestions on what to try?

Mine on unifi is having the same issue too. Tried adding the port forwarding and still failed.
Tried with WiFi and LAN. Sometimes NAT passed with type 2 but cannot be used one. As retest and it failed again

damn i have the same issue.. done reconfigure my tm tplink rouetr still the same.. the damn problem is unifi is blocking , have report and still issue not fix.. damn.. anyone got solution. use redone got nat3 but no issue before this. STill WORSE Unifi not solving the NAT issue on PS4

So i guese it happened to all ps4 players who are using Unifi. At first I kept thought it was my own connection problem and kept restarting my router zzz, until I just found this thread in forum.
I hope TM Unifi can find out the problem and fix it

Yes. Everyone please contact TM and complain.

for my case, first level cannot help even after port reset. they have forwarded to technical team now. i will lodge report to MCMC if they still cannot solve by 17-Feb.
You guys do the same too to create more cases for them to react faster

Ya we need more cases report regarding this, else they won't take action on it

I wonder if it is also why my son been complaining that he cannot launch his Roblox (PC) games and Brawl Stars(iOS) the past 2 days.

Both games worked flawlessly on Friday.

just recently, it was about not able to access ubisoft servers, this weekend PSN..

PC having issues with apex as well , the chat not working well and friend list keep appearing offline .

Update : My PS4 connection seems to be back to normal now.

can anyone here confirm? i can't check right now because i am at work.

this is not the fix. i did this yesterday, and my NAT is still failed. again, i dont know the timing, of this post. i only use DNS 8.8.8.8 at home anyways.

can you check your ps4 now? they said tm fixed the issue & no need to change dns.

Mine still got problem yesterday. Epic and ubisoft launcher cant access internet. But steam and normal browsing ok jer.

Mine is back to normal which is Nat type 2

is it really that bad until local sites have to update about it?
was playing apex on my xbox for awhile on weekend, ok no problem. just need to finish a bit more for bp level before I focus on other games that have double xp weekend. was a bit annoyed that I cant check bp progress on ps. but thank god I finished the 10 daily challenges on both platforms before the unifi breakdown.

They have fixed from their end now. Tried the NAT test for few times and it works now

I can also confirm that everything is working again. Back to normal.
