"Box will be unsealed for warranty activation and quality check purposes"

from the seller detail, is this really ok?

I notice this is common for Samsung phones no matter which shop.

Even reputable sellers on Lazada like tech mall, Samsung’s official store, courts mammoth have this clause on their product listing page.

Whether it’s okay or not, i have never tried buying a Samsung phone online yet.

Yes, as long as you buy from a reputable seller with proven track record and feedback, it should not be an issue. I've been buying Samsung phones online since S8 and they've all been unsealed for warranty purposes and resealed again. No problems so far.

Just send them a message you want a sealed set. They will usually leave your set with the seals intact. Bought many times before, no issues.

Not really bothered with dxomark but the oversharpening part is indeed true and the zoom's basically useless.

Some dealers are selling below cost and claim backend incentives to cover to reach KPI or target. To claim incentives, they need to register the device before activated, hence have to open seal. Up to you to choose which sellers and their way of handling sales.

I bought mine 3350 with wireless charger and powerbank.

Best of all, interest free installment lolz.

Also, senheng gives additional 1 yr warranty.

Cheapest i found on shopee was 3269 - and the seller was quite rude/cocky to my liking...

Bro, check if Senheng registered your unit for warranty. I bought my S10 Lite from them too and just before I sold it, I checked with SME and my unit wasn't registered for warranty. Had to do it manually via email by submitting my proof of purchase to them.

I kinda liked having 24 months 0% installment from SenHeng. And if you use Citibank Credit Card, sign up for the citibank PlusOne membership. You get 2 free years extended warranty. So that's 3 years altogether - enough until the phone kaput and time to change a new one again.

Mine two months plus also not registered laugh.gif

But as long as you kept your receipts, should be no issues.

Didn't buy mine online, walked into their store and bought a sealed one. Probably that's the reason why smile.gif

What’s the issue with a sealed set? I thought it’s better to be delivered sealed?
