I'm a fresh grad and get a job offer as Service Support Engineer. Can anyone (senior) share some experience about whats the role of the job? Would be much appreciate.

I've been working with 4 companies include Silverlake.
Even though they didn't offer any bonus, but they gave such a high increment.
actually it's good when u join the oversea project because of experience + per diem.
Since 2013, I've joined 2 projects that require me to fly abroad.
If u r fresh grad then for me it's a good starter.
build your own carrier path. Once u got higher basic then u can consider to jump.

i've read the following trail and it seems that you're in Brunei eh? I've got an offer through referral for Java programmer role but I'm not into it. Haven't discuss the salary yet but I'm a Software Engineering student currently working as Wintel Support for a year. My Java karat already.... and the guy who offered me the job is telling that I'll be working on a project @ Brunei.

Any one has an idea how long would it take for Silve lake to process an offer including management approval ? Currently, I was told that I am selected for S/w engineer in Singapore. but it has been more than 6 days since I got any response from them. When contacted, they say that it's pending management approval.

May I ask that I got "shortlisted as a programmer" ( went to interview ) so the HR told me that they're pending to finalize the salary package for me.
