Heard that it is 2k for fresh grad and 300 extra once confirmed. Not sure how true it is.

3 tiers of daily per diem based on your salary (for those posted overseas only)
< 3k - RM 90
< 4k - RM 110
> 4k - RM 120

Dubai is RM 150 per day. Only few senior staffs are eligible for RM 180 per day.

Japan is USD 50 per day if not mistaken.

Accommodation and transportation is provided for u. So the RM 150 should be more than enough for food and groceries. Normal meal costs from RM 7 - RM 25.

Could be Branch Delivery System (BDS, the application used by branch teller) or Insurance team.

Silverlake is one of the big software houses specializing in financial systems. They have a good track record and the pay is pretty good. You will find talented developers that used to work for the major banks/life insurance companies there because the pay is better than what their previous company paid them.

this company has many (financial) projects

depend on which team and who you joined.
2 main characters will affect your working experience, your proj mgr, and your senior/team lead

btw, you don't forever stick to 1 fixed team. expect to be change and move around, though most proj mgr will tends to retain their team, especially if you are good.

their core product is RPG, then Cobol
if you looking for tech learning, not much you will find in this system
but if you not for tech pursue, you can learn few core banking products.
but its likely once you assigned to a specific product team, you will likely stick to it long term.

the Java and other new pc tech are in their subcompanies like Axis and other.

I don't and never worked for Silverlake, though I'm awared about it and worked in similar type of company b4.

Banking sys is lot; Credit Card, ATM, Cheque Processing, Loan, .....

You basically will be assigned to 1 of this team developing specifc product (ATM, Loan, etc)
Sometime you may or may not be reassign to other product team, at most only temporary to help other team for delivery
But you can always request to change team, just need to convince your PM and the other team PM, but practically PM don't exercise relocate team member.

I am interested to work in Silverlake System.

Can anyone tell me how I can go about it?

I have more than 10 years overseas working experience working on core retail banking.financial systems using COBOL.
I have no experience working on CICS and RPG programming environment but I am willing to learn.

Thank you.
