doh.gif  doh.gif  doh.gif  Ban Leong don do 1 to 1 for tat... 2 bad... dunno bout the others...
i didn't say Gigabyte is professional in OC... it's juz OC friendly... simple to understand... and noobs can handle it... sweat.gif in the end of the day... after u do all ur tweaks and tricks will ur money spent worth the details u get...? sweat.gif  i'm talking bout money/performance... I strictly didn't say Gigabyte pws asus in everything... sweat.gif
and may i know wat can u do wif so many details...? unsure.gif  and i'm juz an amateur in all these... and i repeat myself again... i'm juz curious y most of u prefer Asus among so many brands... not tat i pro Gigabyte enthusiasts...

no dude
nobody is defending asus or liking the for a matter of fact

the point is.. gigabte makes bad mobo's
and good packaging.. period.

bring ure mobo one day and we will hook it up.. will show u things that u've taken granted for .
some even claim that they can mod this to become a world beater... still havent seen that happen

gigabyte still has crap loads of problem on their pwm and so called 12phase that i think ianho once explained somewhere with proof thats its a marketing gimmick

err... wat's the problem again...? i still haven't experience any prob... unsure.gif juz going almost 70 degree when i set my FSB to 500 for my E6300... at 1.37V... sweat.gif wif Gigabyte's G-Power Pro fan at middle speed... rclxub.gif it's said tat the FSB wall of Gigabyte P35 is 512MHz... tat i can be sure but voltage and cooling i dunno la... i stop at 400 to maintain my rig's lifetime... icon_rolleyes.gif

Added on October 7, 2007, 11:45 pmand about the 12phase power thingy... this is the very basic concept of it... it's meant to stabilize the current to ensure constant and stong enough current which supposely benefit OC the proc... tat's wat i understand la... sweat.gif

I don see the need for urgueing about Asus or Gigabyte or what ever mobo can or cannot do what...just stick to the topic...just my 2 cents... icon_rolleyes.gif

When I read the first post, from the link given...kinda like the design of the Biostar x38 board...and it do not have the heatpipe there...but suddently see the photo with the heatpipe...omg...what is that...how it look if see from top? won't it crash with casing...and how it going to put in the box? make the box higher? very confusing now...and cannot found it on Biostar website... unsure.gif erm...am I talking too much... laugh.gif

x38 not that hyped anymore heh? \

Currently which manufacturer release x38 mobo which

2 X PCI-E x16 Crossfire
DDR3/DDR2 support

So far on market I only saw some asus mobo support ddr3/ddr2.

DFI x38-T3R also haven't release.

I think the reason it's not hyped is cause the performance improvemetn over P35 is just too minimal. i'm using a P35 board and am perfectly happy with it.
