unmoded drivers wont work with dx10 that well.
also want to note the asus distributor in malaysia seems to ffk on the blitz mobos due to the arrival of the x38 which supposedly cause the p35 to go cheaper |

QUOTE(t3chn0m4nc3r @ Sep 12 2007, 01:04 PM) well... like hell we care... but it's trully reliable anyways... u don need to use the reset as it will automatically reset the core clocks and RAM timings if boot failed... hahah this is where i say ure head...so wat i'm trying to say is as long as it practically does the job better than equivalent board... i don care if wat they say... they can say they are the king kongs of motherboards and if i don see tat... it ain't a good board... if it does... i'll love'em... and second ure comparing two different chipsets.. and then based on that ure conclusion of the brand?? gigabyte truly is not that renown for their reliability.... they are reforming themselves and making their boards OC'able and selling the ultra durable 2 caps like it matters... heck even the quad bios is utter rubbish. compare to evga, abit, dfi, it is not reliable at all. their customer service is the worst i experience i ever had. also dude i think u better try that abit mobo more... u can save ure profile... anyways this would be my last experience with gigabyte n680dq6 p965dq6 wait till u go into their raid controllers... till now no support for vista. yup they are damn good my ass. |

QUOTE(t3chn0m4nc3r @ Sep 23 2007, 04:38 PM) hahahaha.... and u think Gigabyte don have all tat...? i not gigabyte fanboy la... juz wondering y Asus... if i want i can get Asus as well... juz tat Asus boards even the cheapest 1 is around RM20-30 more exp than Gigabyte and the diff is not worth the money paid... tat's y i prefer gigabyte... u sound like u anti-gigabyte... may i know y...? dude i think u need to ACTUALLy try the limits of ure gigabyte board...FYI... in term of OC... U won need to touch the reset jumper or remove the CMOS battery to reset ur BIOS settings... cuz gigabyte board will reset ur clocks and RAM timings in case it fail to boot... and Gigabyte OC menu is very very straight forward and professional... unlike Asus AI "overcloak"... and BTW... i've been selling Gigabyte for a year and i only had 2 boards returned for RMA due to: the part time staff accidentally bent 1 of the pins in the proc socket... and 1 more is becuz the PSU short circuit it... and i got them 1:1... now tat's wat i call fancy... heck if u want a mobo that says ULTRA WHAT ever yet is very unstable in overclocking yupp what a marketing gimmick for ure info... i think i have used more gigabyte mobo's than u.. and other brands. although asus may have their issues.. end of day.. the comfort of 1st year 1to1rma comforts me and dude .. what kind of dealer are u.. dont even know that not a single gigabyte dealer in malaysia offers 1st year 1 to 1 rma. Added on September 26, 2007, 1:01 amwei i heard so many ppl said they want to get the x38.. This post has been edited by cstkl1: Sep 26 2007, 01:01 AM |

QUOTE(t3chn0m4nc3r @ Oct 5 2007, 05:31 PM) i didn't say Gigabyte is professional in OC... it's juz OC friendly... simple to understand... and noobs can handle it... and may i know wat can u do wif so many details...? nobody is defending asus or liking the for a matter of fact the point is.. gigabte makes bad mobo's and good packaging.. period. bring ure mobo one day and we will hook it up.. will show u things that u've taken granted for . some even claim that they can mod this to become a world beater... still havent seen that happen gigabyte still has crap loads of problem on their pwm and so called 12phase that i think ianho once explained somewhere with proof thats its a marketing gimmick This post has been edited by cstkl1: Oct 5 2007, 07:53 PM |

QUOTE(t3chn0m4nc3r @ Oct 7 2007, 11:26 PM) err... wat's the problem again...? i still haven't experience any prob... its 2x6phase.. the other 6 is some virtual thingAdded on October 7, 2007, 11:45 pmand about the 12phase power thingy... this is the very basic concept of it... it's meant to stabilize the current to ensure constant and stong enough current which supposely benefit OC the proc... tat's wat i understand la... |
