After update the latest security from unifi, you can't open developer mode. They already change the old password to the new password. Nobody can't access the new password. cry.gif

Can you provide me the old password to try, my TV BOX has not been open since 2-3 years ago, maybe still can accept the old password.

Tried but unable to toggle on the app to update by itself.

Somehow a window message appear saying "Do not allow install installation of apps from sources other than Playstore"

Seems need password to enable developer option before app can update itself. 😓

Anyone knows the password can pls share

My Unifi Plus black box suddenly restarts earlier after opening tvbrowser apps, and now it’s stuck on the Android TV loading screen (right after the Unifi TV logo), been looping there for over 30 minutes without progressing. what to do now?

My Unifi box is out of warranty, but I called them anyway because the box was working fine until they decided to force firmware update on everyone. It had pending Unifi 2.0 firmware upgrade for about 2 weeks but I didn’t restart/upgrade, just left it on standby every night. It was working perfectly fine until it auto restarted and got stuck in a boot loop yesterday.

Support said they’d send a technician, but if the box needs replacement I’d have to extend my contract. I told them I don't want want them to send technician over because I want no extra charges and no contract extension, but they booked the tech anyway with remakrs “no extra charges, no extend contract.” Whatever that means… If they try to make me extend later, I’ll just refuse again.

Also, I went out and bought a Mi Box S 3rd Gen last night way better than the Skyworth Unifi box, just missing ethernet and has one less USB port.

Tm charge RM50 when technical coming. Have you try reset? at back use a needle

So the agent called me earlier this morning before coming over, I told him if TM gonna charge me or extend my contract then I don’t want him to come, but I also told him about the problems on the call, and he said there is no other way except extend the contract or buy the new box from him because I’m already out of contract so he cancelled the report..

But it’s so stupid I’m still a paying customer for the unifiTV pack including Viu.. yea I’m out of contract.. but the box was working perfectly fine no hiccups no slowdown until Unifi decided to shove this 2.0 firmware update bullshit. I didn’t ask for the firmware update, so it’s not my fault they force the box to update itself and got corrupted in the process..

The technical attend to my premises and try done factory reset and said your TV box got faulty. They said so called "memory corrupted". I feel like that is totally non-sense.. If my TV box memory failure or corrupted, then other streaming apps like iqiyi and netflix together cannot watch too..

However, I got showed them the streaming apps still can watch. Only your lousy Unifi TV 2.0 cannot watch. The denied the statement, and technical leave with conclude the statement. Said if want replacement, then request you RM53 technical fees with renew contract. Or else if don't want to renew contract, then need pay lump sum RM200+.

Idiot their max level and I requested to terminate TV pack, but they deny to do so, saying this is bundle must take.

Freaking frustrated already plus my old folks start make noisy with me. Cannot tolerance anymore raise up to mcmc for this incident.

Like yours case also similarly like mine, I suggested you better raised up to mcmc directly. Not need liase with unifi teams anymore, due to their idiot level of s*** 2.0 apps.

First get live chat and told them create case number..
After that, u use that report and raise up to skmm/mcmc about your problem unable to watch tv channels, and they tried to scam a fees when they come your premises.

Let skmm / mcmc to handle problem.
Their unifi apps developer teams are really brainless, can't think out of box brain.

My Unifitv box 1st gen cannot update this, after reboot it show failed to install. Any solution guys? I already factory reset, still the same problem.
