for Xiaomi phone, install Google Home in your phone, then you can cast your screen, videos, pics from your phone
if i'm not mistaken, only Facebook vidoes & YouTube can cast directly

may i suggest, try to change the Internet source?
if wired change to wifi or if wifi change to wired
or maybe turn on 4G hotspot from your phone & connect UPB through WiFi

see if its make any difference, if video quality still bad, log the problem to unifi

if you have netflix & you want to watch it on UPB,
install kodi & netflix addons
but cant get full HD

Anyway, I found out that I can already enable the option to update the third-party app

just go to Settings > Apps > Security & Restrictions i think
I managed to update my adsfree Y**T*** app after i enable it
