can i confirm if there is no debit card fee for this account?

SC messaged to request confirmation if I made those transactions.

Easier to contact their CS. And much more professional.

I have both acc. Rhb smart and sc. initially plan to switch to rhb, but end up stick with SC due to their service.

Rhb is only for my joy@work - salary crediting acc

i got good relationship experience so far with SC despite some hiccups. most of the time i check with SC Chat in the app. sometimes I just WhatsApp the branch people. even got invited to a dinner.

rhb rejected my credit card application recently so already i hate rhb from the get go 😂

As the T&C as changed, Debit card is now eligible to earn 0.9% interest by spending 5x retail transaction.

I wanted to reload BigPay 5 times with RM1 each transaction. Does reloading RM1 5x entitle for the 0.9% debit card bonus?

Yeah... once BNM annouced reduce of OPR, tat particular month, OCBC reduced the bonus interest without 21 days notice at least

SC is more ethical. They inform wayyy earlier bfore changing the interest

Not really grudge.. is lost of trust.. moreover, their interest calculation is by end of month, so, they don give 21 days notice, n also “backdate” the interest rate.. as in announce on 25th of the month, but ur 1-24th deposit also affected..

I think recent case on a customer acc being closed without reason given is also a shocking incident that I see from a bank.. they don’t act like a financial institution, I think aeon credit act much better than them..

Okay I realized that the Invest bonus is just for 3 months.
so after that it's only Deposit (0.9%) + Debit Card (0.9%) + CC (0.9%) = 2.7% bonus interest

comparing it to RHB's Smart Account
Deposit (1.80%) + Pay (0.5%) + Spend (0.5%) = 2.8% bonus interest
Plus optional Invest (1.0% of net investment)
