The the devout Hindu uncle everyday go temple type.. will say this is sembahyang ritual punya makan, so his Muslim friend don't eat. Vice versa his Muslim friend don't send him daging korban or cow meat, they don't slaughter the cow in the neighbourhood. Never happen that this Hindu uncle ask his Muslim friend to perform ritual for Hindu god or Muslim friend ask this uncle to joint Friday prayer. During Deepavali Muslim send this uncle soft drinks hundred plus, and this uncle distribute maruku..sometime his signature mutton curry, during kenduri/raya Muslim tapoa this uncle lauk. If pongal is a ritual like sembahyang raya then it is clear edi. Muslim can observe, very good to understand the significant but cannot do the ritual.
