The person who fixes my clocks and watches only recommends cheap aa/aaa batteries to not strain the clock gears.

QUOTE(Skylinestar @ Jan 6 2020, 09:39 PM) Yes. I stop using those cheap battery. Specially button battery. There damage the device and cost me more to replace the device than the battery. No point to use cheap battery. If want cheap cost, get the rechargeable. Initial cost is high. But cost less when use. And don't leak. |

QUOTE(mystvearn @ Apr 27 2020, 07:38 AM) The person who fixes my clocks and watches only recommends cheap aa/aaa batteries to not strain the clock gears. Same here... the clock shop dont recommend alkaline battery. too "powerful" for the clock.https://www.panasonic.com/my/consumer/batte...se-battery.html https://www.eveready.com/batteries/super-heavy-duty Dont get those cheap brands (tesco, MY DIY). Very easy to leak. And one particular brand that I avoid is Duracell. Every single one that I use also leak. Now I only use the panasonic manganese for those low power device like clock/remote. And its ok that they don't last long, because the longer you use, the higher chance it will leak (any brand). So it is better change it once in a while. |

I google no result .What model does it support ?Plan to buy them back to charge. QUOTE(BOTAK_WAI @ Apr 27 2020, 12:19 PM) Really no more selling nicad ? I though I can buy the battery and use back the charger.Sincei it is panasonic battery.QUOTE(gx_azam @ Apr 27 2020, 12:25 PM) beli charger je lah. for long term investment. recharge battery for aircond remote, tv remote, fan remote, clock and blablabla Plan on rotate fan using AAA battery.Last time , normal 1 time use tesco battery can last for 2 week , average 1 hours usage perday. Now , only less than a week , if continue using 1-8 hours gone.I know the portable FAN degrade but it's not totally spoil , though of reuse it using rechargeable battery. Normally , what are the different on rechargeable battery if using on those low power like alarm clock remote control ? any harm and leak ? I remember some said rechargeable battery cannot be use on certain device and cannot mix together with other battery. QUOTE(ozak @ Apr 27 2020, 12:31 PM) ? How well is it ? price ? |

QUOTE(Skylinestar @ Jan 6 2020, 09:29 PM) Searching for good deals on AAA battery for alarm clock, flashlight, alarm, etc. Some of the things are emergency items, so just tuck the battery in and will never use the devices (touch wood). Want cheap and less quality or cheap but same quality ?Not gonna use it for toys or motorized item as I don't have any. Does buying the cheapest rechargeable AA/AAA for this purpose even make sense? If yes, what model (battery/cell) do you recommend? Share your best loot. Sample/reference: ![]() This DoublePow https://shopee.com.my/AA-AAA-Battery-1200-m...7417.1857447973 ![]() |
