QUOTE(tAmp0i @ Jul 16 2007, 03:08 PM) We need Luiz Felipe Scolari to coach our players.... As for the board, they know not what they are doing and i don't think football is their main interest. Mainly because of $ scolari, guus hiddink, SAF, or even the special one "jose" can't save current malaysia national team now. they need to start from the root, train and guide the young one, current squad already useless.

QUOTE(Cahill @ Jul 16 2007, 03:05 PM) actually how much $$$ been given to FAM each year with tax payers' $$$. our hard earn $ wasted on those bustards.... Then we must not give anymore! for starters we need to boycott the local league, nike, FAM sponsored tournament etc. Done give them a chance to take 1 sen of our pockets.

his resignation is overdue for way too long. With all due respect, he tried and failed too many time and yet he still hold on to office for such a long time.
I sincerely hope, for the sake of football in this country his resignation is not another sandiwara. you know... he resign and then all sort of YAB, Datuk, MP blah blah blah... come out to support him and back he is to where he was before.
won't be easy regain our former strength again. The game have evolves into such a technical game that i think we are at a lost when the opponent refuse to pass and shot but play a strategy game. I figure we have to start all over again from school kids teaching them to walk into the field knowing the opponent weakness and how to play around them to score rather then get the ball pass to penalty box and shot.
again... no sandiwara pls and also keep the politician out for goodness sake.

QUOTE(PenangLaksa @ Jul 16 2007, 10:37 AM) Only cowards would resign, he has not got the gut to tell everybody that what he has been upto for the past 10 years? It will not change a thing, I have come to a conclusion that Malaysians can't play football. who said that.... we have history in Asian football........ if we can't play.... we will not have our own history although its quite long ago in 60s 70s & 80s, we beat arsenal, we beat czech republic 3-1 or 3-0, keevin keegan play for malaysia in pestabola merdeka bcoz he impress with our football at that time... we draw with england .... mokhtar dahari recognized as best striker in asia when he just 23 yrs old.... we qualify for olympic for 2 times... who said we can't play football......... now, its all bcoz of money.... our football become worst becoz of money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!>.........

QUOTE(THT United Gadgets @ Jul 16 2007, 12:25 PM) Azman Adnan or Hashim Mustapha (ex-Kelantan striker) Yup, these 2 strikers during the 90s, scoring goals as easy as drink water. That's the last best strikers I ever seen in Malaysia football, after that no one really near the quality both of these players

Fully agree. We had a good footballing history. Then it all went sour and downhill. Hopefully, there would be some improvements...

If the Tengku really wanted to help Malaysian football he wouldn't leave the FAM in limbo but rather clean up all the corruption and mismanagement in it.

I think changes are inevitable ...
When the team plays the results shows , and when the results are total rubbish its time to move on with some new people . This doesn't apply to him only but the whole organization

we need many years b4 our team can play some decent and competitive football. he should have resigned his job a very long time ago. we're now in a state of decline - we need much more time than previously to build back a decent team.
