The distribution you received is nett distribution.
Tax has been paid (deducted) upfront under single tier taxation. The distribution in unit trust is a closed loop system; no manipulation can be done. |

QUOTE(tan_aniki @ Jul 27 2020, 12:06 PM) So good to dump on Friday before 4pm and redeem on Monday before 4pm?And repeat on the following Friday? 18.25% pa is absolutely much better than any CASA and/or money market fund. This post has been edited by GrumpyNooby: Jul 27 2020, 12:12 PM |

QUOTE(majorarmstrong @ Jul 28 2020, 08:52 AM) So this NAV is there to stay for the entire day? This is unit trust bond fund not bond market like you see in FSM One. Not like stock market? Can go up and down during the day? Why would the price fluctuates real time for the whole day? The NAV price is historical meaning yesterday NAV. QUOTE(majorarmstrong @ Jul 29 2020, 10:38 AM) question again: Of course that is how unit trust works.you see yesterday i buy that time before 4PM it was 1.0885 for RM9999 but today when the RM9999 reflected it say i bought it at 1.0893 so we wont know what is the NAV till the price is reflected the next day this is not like stock market, you see the price u like u buy and that is your price, but for UT there is always a delay of 1 day specifically for OPUS Unit trust fund (not just Opus) is collection of assets. How you can determine the future price of the assets on-hand when trading for the day is still ongoing? This post has been edited by GrumpyNooby: Jul 29 2020, 10:42 AM |

QUOTE(funboy555 @ Jul 29 2020, 10:46 AM) To be simple, most or almost all UT funds are using forward pricing. The PM agent just "con" him. The concept is because your money that booked today for example, will not participate in the pool of money of existing investors' investment that generating today's return. Hence you should not be taking yesterday price to buy in units. I hope this is simple explanation that Uncle can understand better. Why uncle invest so long in PMO funds with agents, but he never teach you and guide you all these? |

QUOTE(majorarmstrong @ Jul 29 2020, 07:39 PM) You need to declare yourself as "qualified or sophisticated investor" first.I believe this feature is not available in Opus Touch. Qualified Investor According to the Guidelines on Wholesale Funds, issued by the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC), a "qualified" investor refers to at least one of the following: Investing as an Individual (a) an individual whose total net personal assets, or total net joint assets with his or her spouse, exceed three million ringgit or its equivalent in foreign currencies, excluding the value of the individual’s primary residence; (b) an individual who has a gross annual income exceeding three hundred thousand ringgit or its equivalent in foreign currencies per annum in the preceding twelve months; © an individual who, jointly with his or her spouse, has a gross annual income exceeding four hundred thousand ringgit or its equivalent in foreign currencies in the preceding twelve months; https://www.fundsupermart.com.my/main/artic...20Investors.pdf |
