that questions are referring to ahpingko who once made such statement that the 105 and cf bike aint much difference from his cheap camp bike. so........ but he does claim he is making more than 200w at home.

see, most normal cyclist would think like u. groupset then frame 1st.
but tht fellow diff, he beli 88mm ws, then beli PM, then keep tanya how to improve, how to save watts, etc while saying frame and GS is useless and wont do much.
also wan to add ceramic pulley to a sora gs thinking it gonna make him faster.
weekly ftp test also x tau apa tu but he do it weekly n post on insta

im not saying beli PM first is a wrong decision.
PM if used correctly can be an effective tool to improve. that should be the first thing la.
nak buat satu benda dgn betul, kena ada tools dulu kan?
altho i dont use PM, i know others who have improved significantly using PM so they could train the right way.

correct, diff is those people know how to effectively train using PM to improve.
meanwhile, certain people use it to see number at the end of ride jer and it spark joys to him (dunno apa ketahian)

i suggest groupset and frame first coz those things can boost motivation to go out n ride more.

sora pulley use sleeve aje. ceramic pulley ok la, since got ball bearing. but personally i'd use je the sora pulleys until rosak then only get new ones. might as well get ceramic pulleys. price oso not crazy like ceramic speed. altho i wouldnt get those ahbeng alloy merah colour. get normal black one.

srs i dunno apa itu ftp test so i wont comment on that

at the end of the day, nak improve, get on ur bike n ride.

u can c more gain from better groupset n frame due to smoother shifting, lighter weight, more aero position etc
but 88mm and a PM?

smoother shifting - u dont shift continously. i dont see how smoother shifting can improve my speed
lighter weight - ok la ini i oso dunno if ada boost performance or not. maybe if ride solo long distance can feel kot? or beza in kilograms? i dropped 600gram when i changed bike, didn't really feel much diff.
aero position - same type of bike, how to get more aero position? unless go bikefitting n slam that stem la

should say as in the bike overall more stiff n light?
anyway, no wrong buying 88mm or PM.
but dun la ignorant like saying china frame same as s-works jer, so why waste money buy s-works?
or sora gs and dura ace same jer so why wanna upgrade to dura ace, use sora jer la

dura ace can spin faster than sora?
