QUOTE(benbeaninc @ Jun 24 2020, 08:09 AM) If u dun change gears AT ALL.. Then gears dun matter... Maybe the weight will as 11 speed is lighter then 10 is lighter than 9... that questions are referring to ahpingko who once made such statement that the 105 and cf bike aint much difference from his cheap camp bike. so........ but he does claim he is making more than 200w at home. Depending on wat u use the bike for to determine the difference.. if u only use the bike to meet fren who is 500m away or just to buy things from mart n back... Cheap bike n cf won really make a diff anyways... Gaya saja There are also cheap cf bike... It works but power transfer maybe bad... Cheap alloy bike if u make it look good, ppl also will steal... |

QUOTE(chinti @ Jun 24 2020, 10:46 AM) see, most normal cyclist would think like u. groupset then frame 1st. what more when the frame size is wrong and off for him to start with. Geometry is off and weird according to bike fitter that fitted him. we are not talking about frame material, flex, stiffness and power trasnfer efficiency of the frame yet.but tht fellow diff, he beli 88mm ws, then beli PM, then keep tanya how to improve, how to save watts, etc while saying frame and GS is useless and wont do much. also wan to add ceramic pulley to a sora gs thinking it gonna make him faster. weekly ftp test also x tau apa tu but he do it weekly n post on insta |

QUOTE(undentifiedKC @ Jun 24 2020, 11:14 AM) instead of saying smoother shifting, should be saying "more gear selection" so that u can ride at certain cadence at certain gear instead of too light or too heavy gear this one is true, more gears give you better range of ratio for the right cadence for you to pedal at different situations. |

QUOTE(miaopurr @ Jun 24 2020, 11:23 AM) i started on entry level alu bike + sora (7 or 8 speed cant remember). wrong frame size, too big jibai. spot on masta! second bike carbon frame but not so big brand + ultegra. still wrong size. third n current bike, sworks + dura ace. perfection. what i can say about the groupsets, that old ultegra was the best. buttery smooth shifting. coz the cables from the shifters were external. no tight bends. the DA was the first gen of internal cable routing like campagnolo. not as smooth to shift. and upgrading to 10s allowed smaller ratio gap. that syok. sora less cogs, bigger ratio gap. group ride tak syok. about the frame, that alu bike harsh ride la. try long distance on a harsh ride. i tukar carbon, it absorbed road buzz. better comfort, so can ride longer distance less pain. china frame, dont generalize la. got many grades punya. he thinks semua manufacturers/brands have the same manufacturing processes and product quality control? tell u something la. a coupla days back i borak dgn my friend. lets just say he got repair or do maintenance or install stuff for various people on various bikes. he say, some cheapo brands punya frame, the bb so longgar he could push in the bb without using tools. so... can do that on sworks? |

QUOTE(andrewhtf @ Jul 13 2020, 01:38 PM) What is the benefit of having that singlet extension on a cycling pant? u need to look into better/branded pant/bib.I was thinking that if I had to go berak in toilet that singlet part very kakacaucau I hate it when the sticky sweat get accumulated behind the knee. And after some time, that part felt irritated. For example with my short pants, the part where there is a silicone liner to prevent the leg end part from going up, that silicone left a line of mark on my thigh. It hurt at that place. QUOTE(ahpingko @ Sep 9 2020, 10:21 AM) i think u didnt turn on ERG mode? hence the resistance stay the same? not sure la.. i don have smart trainer.. but it sounds like that.. wei bro, as an influencer wannabe, dont simply give people ajaran sesat leh. Gradient in simulation is FEC, not ERG, sila banyakkan membaca untuk menimba ilmu yang sah dan sahih. during uphill, speed memang will drop..just ignore ur speed.. focus on the wattage... u should see the wattage about the same regardless flat or uphill since the resistance is same..
