Just got my Xbox SX this evening.

Tested the series x controller.
No mushy A button.
Dpad is really nice on the series X though.

Kinda feels smaller than an Xbox one controller.
But overall, very similar.
*
Nice! Congratulations indeed.

Sharing some of the readings from Reddit, apparently the issue is still there for Series X Source - Reddit

If i'm not mistaken COD supports VRR; i turned it on, on my LG B9 and it works really well smile.gif

Question. Is it difficult to find online games for COD?

I’m struggling to get online games so I just decided not to buy COD.

do you mean multiplayer matchmaking ?

COD is one of the hottest multiplayer games now, doubt you'll have issues finding ppl to play with
*
Yeah multiplayer. I tried Warzone previously and had issues finding a room, never had that issue with PC.

Is this a region thing?

maybe ur NAT problem bro. Restricted NAT cannot connect with others
*
QUOTE(greyshadow @ Nov 27 2020, 10:43 AM)
yeah, most likely it's your NAT issue there
most of the Maxis or 4G Wireless users might face this issue

try configure your router port forwarding for your console IP
uPNP helps also

but mostly depending on the ISP
*
Thanks guys, will probably look into this.

I’m using Unifi thou, but will check. I always have issues with online games, probably its the NAT issue

if you're using that Dlink black can router from TM, time to throw that away and upgrade to a better one as well
*
I’m using Asus RT86U tongue.gif

I dislike stock routers lol

One more thing bout series x

Although it can be placed horizontal
I advice against it
Coz the air from the vent is sibeeeeh hot

Better let it flow out from the top
*
Untung laaaaaaaa got Series X.

But I prefer it to be standing up right, horizontally will eat too much space.

Did some digging apparently only those with proprietary xbox wireless only can output audio. They wan to reduce lag. But meaning to say only a few wireless headset for wireless. Cheapest is artis 1 tho.. not sure how good it is compare to 9x.. 9x malaysia no stock.. only amazon ada.. sigh
*
I was on the same boat as you previously, I gave up and got myself a Sony WH1000XM4 and Dolby Atmos for Headphones.

In truth, you don’t really need a ‘gaming’ headphone. Those proprietary Xbox Wireless will still face wireless interference from controller, wifi router etc - if you read up about it.

The only safe bet is to get a headset with dongle (2.4Ghz). This is why the Steelseries Arctis 7X is so sought after.. the dongle.

So u use 3.5mm wired connection the the controller? Heard the quality is much better than what dualshock controller headphone jack. 7x is cheaper but the microusb charging lol.. 7x is the dongle has toggle like arctis 1?
*
Yup but depending on the controller, some has a low-frequency static sound, not really noticeable.

The dongle on the 7x is just a dongle geh, no buttons or toggle one. Cucuk behind the console and good to go, but connection far more stable than the XBOX Wireless Proprietary la.

Your only issue is getting a unit lol!

Alot of Series X popping up in Shopee, mostly local sellers.

But the price damn... from 3.5k onwards. Who can’t wait can get from these scalpers.

I see those Xbox Series S selling RM1700++, Xbox Series X selling RM3000++, is it reasonable price?  mega_shok.gif
*
Looking at the stock situation, most of the retailers here are taking stocks from either EU/UK or Japan hence the higher price.

I guess if you need it now, GH’s pricing is decent

Take the normal price benchmark:

Series S - RM1,499
Series X - RM2,199

Then self judge  flex.gif
*
I don’t think you can get 2,199 now for the Series X. Those were the price from MS Singapore, and now the entire world is facing shortage - retailers are getting it from other countries with higher conversion rates.

Like I said, if you can wait out until Jan/Feb next year, hopefully the price will stabilise again.

no game center, gigantic console, no switch app features

1) Exclusives
2) Loyalist
3) PS5 is widely seen as the only next gen console officially in Malaysia.

Just got a text from GH regarding the Japan unit. Theyre offering it as an alternative to those who are in the pre-order list

RM3099 anyone pulling the trigger? hmm.gif
*
Pulled the trigger this morning.

Still cheaper than most retailers and at least there’s 3 months warranty, unlike most retailers.

Anyway its OOS already. Fulfilment date is latest by 18th.

QUOTE(tripleB @ Dec 8 2020, 08:23 PM)
Yup I got the same text too. I'm not going forward for that price. I'll just wait until I get my PO, or until GH cancels my PO, whichever comes first.
*
I’ve broken my vow to not purchase from GH, but the price is tempting haha. It’s already sold out at the current time of checking, I guess stocks are really limited.

Looking at Singapore pricing, likely it will be between 2399-2599 for the new batch, not really much of a difference I guess.

So you are confirmed getting from them? Grabbing any games?
*
Yup, already ordered yesterday morning. Was gonna ask to cancel since ATO will bring in the stocks tomorrow, but they told me the new batch from Japan will arrive this week, so I kept it.

Unfortunately they don’t have any XBOX games for now, otherwise would’ve use that RM100 vouchers from them 🤦🏻‍♂️

What does this even mean lol. If anyone cancels they'll give the slot to the next person?

This is what you call, answer = no answer haha.

You might wanna get from ATO instead, the link is a few post above mine only.
