How to connect my Viewty to pc thru bluetooth ya?
I can't seems to do it.
Using 2 computer, 1 is notebook built-in bluetooth and another 1 is desktop & using bluetooth dongle.
Both also using Windows Bluetooth wizard..
Any idea how to do it?
Because i want to transfer file between my pc and viewty using bluetooth, too lazy to connect the USB wire.
they can't even find my viewty at all..
I tried with Nokia 5310 and it didn't create any single problem.

1.Auto-restart problem

It's true for some batch of Viewty due to PCB board defects, but you can exchange to a new LG SECRET FOC by taking them to LG Service centre.
But this didn't occur to my viewty.

2.Msg tone too short

Actually i like this feature. Who needs a long sms tone?
5 secs is more than enough to be heard because now am using a mp3 ringtone, some more the max vol of viewty is v.v.very loud.


3.The screen respond is not good as Prada(the reaction)

I don't know about Prada since not using it before.
But this is what i got when compared to Apple iphone
What i can say is totally different system than Apple iPhone.
iPhone is using the newest heat technology (you can operate it with you nail or stylus, only you hand will works) but viewty is using the older touchscreen technology. But probably the best older gen touchscreen we got.

4.Lagging when da memory filled up..

This is LG, their operating system is slower compared to Nokia, SE etc.

5.Viewing da photo album take a long time..

Don't view the picture in the 'play' mode when capturing the picture.
Use my stuff, my pictures instead.
The 'play' mode really take lots of time to load.


6.Picture is not so good.

For me, no complain for a hp.

7.No camera protector..

you won't scratch the lens due to their design, like a stand at the back of the phone...

Why don't you try Mass Storage setting instead of data service?

How to do it?
Is this option available for bluetooth?

Phone settings > Connectivity > USB connection mode > Mass Storage

After that try reconnect the USB cable. It will treat the phone like a thumbdrive

Some viewty user say can't but some say yes.
But neither of them provide more info.

Sorry haven't try transferring using bluetooth. It's slow and troublesome.

yes..bluetooth taking more time to transfer data. MB/s also lower what if compare to cable.

For that, I set my maximum volume to -800 and second loudest to -1200. Songs with bass will play with very very bad quality if it's too loud, like a radio ripped version music.

So what value is recommended?
It can be set back to original value if after we change the db value right?
Because i want to change the value but some complain facing problem after changing the db value

You need to remember the db value when you change it. Hard resetting the phone will not by any chance, reset the changes made in the hidden menu. Well I personally find nothing important and useful in the hidden menu other than changing the db value for stereo headset volume. Well, I don't want to risk increasing the volume of the speaker although there's option for it. Later speaker kong you high jor that time.

If only few hundred i sure try it....
But how about earphones?
Because i feel that it's quite low in terms of volume for some song.
But someone say after changing the volume, the quality becomes sucks...
And yes, even factory reset won't restore the value to original.

About the earphone,

I changed it to a branded earphone instead of using those supplied with LG. Firstly, it's too short and secondly branded earphones produce better sound quality. The question whether the quality will degrade will depends on the song. Some song will produce the same quality even if the volume is at it's peak. Some song may suffer from loss of quality resulting in low quality of sound.

In case you suffer the degradation in quality, just simply shift the volume to 6 or 5 in order to enjoy the same quality.

Hello all,
im interested in getting a KU990, R version.
but I cant seems to find it at Malaysia..
was asking at sg wang just now,
but they told me the one with lens cover is called KE990
I told them KU990R is with 3G they got no idea at all..

How come I cant found this phone in Malaysia?
search for it at lyn garage sales also no luck,
and one of the them told me even KU990 itself is going to be discontinued..

anyone know where can I get it?

2.) the max capacity of the card is 2GB rite?So does it slow down significantly when u almost fill it up?

5.) Wht kind of audio jack it's using?
6.) How's the built?Izzit plasticky cheap or...?

got my Viewty a few days ago..huuu...anyone know how to hack?read all at www.ku990.co.uk,but hard to understand..i'm kinda noob on this..whoever can help me...huuuu...

KE990 is the American version of the Viewty. Currently KE990 has no 3G support for the phone but it has EDGE support for the phone. You can try buying from Singapore for the R version, which is with the lens cover.

As far as I know, Viewty is being replaced by Secret.
