well. .i saw a LG authorized shop in sunway pyramid. .it's opposite and the same floor as the IT centre. .hope this helps

i bought this phone thru my sis. she has some connection with zitron and got it just for 1650.

i noticed there's a hp kiosk in mid valley, 2nd floor, near center court got sell this phone. Sonic power is the name of the kiosk, if i'm not mistaken. i bought the screen protector there and the sales guy told me about 1.9k.

i just tested this device today.Honestly speaking,the interface is good.The bad thing is the sound quality.Sounds like "speaker breaking" sound,if you know what i mean.

Overall nice,and trendy but keying in smss will be a problem.ON another note,i also tested the SE W960i which was awesome.Downside is the camera is below average.

The SMS typing will be fine once you get used to it, but definitely harder to do while driving compared to a conventional phone.

But we are not supposed to be SMSing while driving

This is quite embarassing, I'm facing a problem here, there're no shortcut available when i slide horizontally in the main menu, can somebody tell me what's going on?

I've called the lg staff and they ask me to go to kelana jaya and flash the hardware... i guess i'll leave that as the last resort...

just got myself the KU990 , wonderful phone i must say .. so much better than the 6500 slider I had, which hung within the first day of getting it .. the KU990 has not hung on me yet ..
but like someone said earlier, the battery's power dropping is quite shocking!! e.g. in the morning there're still 3 bars, but by the night, phone was flat?? very very deceiving ...

question i have is, how do you configure the short cut menu ?
there're some icons that I don't need, and would really want to add in the Call Log icon instead ... this is not in the manual ?

as for the battery. .when it reaches 2 bar, be prepared to charge it. .i dn tink u can change the shortcut menu. .

I got mine from LG outlet in IOI Puchong. quoted 1899 with 1G mini SD.
quite like the phone, first exp with LG. Was considering in between N95, N82, K850i. selected this because of the touch screen exp.

positive
-large screen
-good interface
-compact, filled with features.

negative
-small txt input window in sms
-no "c" button on the keypad
-not too user friendly, ex: when the alarm rings, the keypad is locked, and u hv to struggle to lock it.
-lowsy bat life. This morning got 2 bars, when i was writing this, it gave warning of low bat and I am charging it now. from the day i bought (Sunday), I completed charging at 11pm, it is not even 2 days. ( i hardly use it i would say). in between, i did get the bat "unvolunteraly charged" when I was transferring data to my laptop via USB. I though this is not good as the bat is being confused or "fool" when it is forced to be charged when it is still in good health....
- lack of accesorry, I force the shop to give me one generic Nokia casing to carry it around (i dont like it to be in my pocket)

I hv tried various website, including LGmobile malaysia (nothing there).

Added on March 4, 2008, 11:01 amit can plays 3GP files too. use anyconverter (can download free) to convert it to tat file. but resolution not so nice lor!
the Divx converted only supported limited format, most of the film avaible on the net are in RMV /RMV / WMV mode. so need to convert and it takes long time to convert big files.

guys, i got another sg set used viewty from "roycechuah". and da phone is faulty.
the screen is not touchable at most of the time. it didnt happen when i cod with him almost 20-30mins. so bad luck am i...
so, i gonna take da phone to repair.

is zitron gona help me to repair?
im sure they surely charge.

Guys, may i know whether the touch function of this phone by stylus or by finger?

both, but it's easier to use stylus when switch to keyboard mode.

if you got those with zitron warranty, they will repair FOC. if singapore set, its either u go SG for warranty or you will have to send to repair and pay for the cost

finger most of the time. stylus is for web browsing and photo editing.
