Bro Alex,
Inflatable is not meant for high HP gasoline engines. It should not exceed 3HP. So if you have intention of placing a 30~80hp engine, i strongly suggest you get the fiber boat.

Advantage of the inflatable(as to me lah)
1. storage
2. easy to paddle
3. light
4. portability
5. easy to maintain

Disadvantages (as to me lah)
1. gotta pump the air first - however it does not take long about 10 nia
2. with thruster would be better - no need to paddle
3. leaking seam if over inflated

Anything else other angler wants to add in...?

Bro KY, reason i asked because that fish looks big. Last weekend actually i caught 3 haruans (1 momma - about 1 foot long only). This momma keep whacking my frog.. 3-4 times.. go snag and lepas.. go snag and lepas again until last one..    totally syiok man.. just played with her 1 hour.. then i think, if i release her, people might come and hooked her. So i put inside big sack and put into water. I was rite as 1 hour after that 5 peoples came, all with frog and hunting haruan. They keep casting infront of my sack as baby played around that sack.. One guy tried to make solid hook up by whacking so hard that i think fish jaw might pop out..    after they all gone and day getting dark, i release her.. at least i've save her for one day.. 

If i were you.. from tanah merah, i'll go further up to Jeli and hunt for toman there.. there biggies about drum size there..

About dentos, actually i bought spare edi... MuaHaHaHa...        as i saw it performed. That part you can seal it back.. butt part you also must seal it to avoid water goes in..

I think usually their trip is about 4days 3 night one.. using fisherman boat..

but the last photo is very kau lor.. about 48 merah, 50 kurau .. and other fishes.. this one is for your hutan melintang trip poison so you will catch more than them lor hahaha
