I always active... just dunno wat to reply.. hahaha..
About the boat i cannot say much yet.. cause haven got the chance to make a trip.. early this month planning for 1, but 1 of my fren suddenly cabut to kl working so trip cancel cause just left 2 pax... hahaha.. Anyway, wat i heard from 1 of the regular customer of the tekong is we can do jigging and also bottom, jigging target fish is cermin, cupak( big eye travelly), and others.. if bottom mayb grouper, merah tanda and so lo.. that's wat i heard la.. the boat is fishing boat can fit 5 pax nicely i think cause usually they go that much... sometimes only 3.. that will cost 450 usually from night to the next afternoon.

Sifu Chun, nice fish you got there... so many strike in 1 trip.. congrat... the method i use almost the same like you lo.. but i din wait that long.. i only count to 3 then strike.. but the place i fish quite clear.. less weeds..

Here is the biggest i caught using real froggy since i come back here.. 900g.. catch and makan.. hahaha.

Bro daddyVW, i also can consider small size la.. but not sure about the fish.. cause that's wat show at the scale.. the fish was cooked for my late grandmum.. if not i wont know how much.. C&R.. hehe..

Which part of north you coming? me at Tanah Merah, Kelantan.. the place i go for haruan hunting is just 3 min from my house.. so i go there almost every evening.. hahaaha.. Tomorro might going to recce a few more spots.. Hope to get some good result.. hehe.. Today someone told me here got tarpon and haruan on the same spot so might recce for that as well.. it get me so excited.. hehe.. never caught any tarpon before.. but that spot are quite far away.. around 1hr journey..

Bro.. How the result of the smith dentos you had use? one of mine got stuck in snag but manage to get back, sadly the end of the tail get chip of.. the one with small steel ball.. sad sad sad.... hehehe..

Me here also hard to catch big one la.. those pics of big 1 is to make you drools only... hahahahaa...once a while still can la.. but yours there better ma.. can get 3 fish in 1 trip.. Here not that good lo.. average 1 STRIKE per trip only.. sometimes zero ler...

Sometimes fishing for momma haruan is not that challenging since we know that 90% of the time sure she will whack most of the lure we present... and we will sure stand very near so the fighting distance is short.. hehehe.. i love it very much when i cast out far and got a hook up.. can fight longer if the fish is big.. hahahaha...

It's you going to Pergau Dam?? i heard there are toman.. but not sure got as big as you mention or not la.. hehe.. When you on the way to jeli there is 1 haruan spot around 15-20 min from Tanah Merah.. tried there before but most of them kicimiau.. my fren caught 1 bujuk but also kicimiau... hehehe

I also got bought spare since i so far away.. hahaaha.. The part is seal... and now the dentos still can be use cause only the small ball part came off.. hehee.. lucky..

Last week went to recce tarpon spot but get small momma haruan instead... hehe.. Was using R2S glow in the dark grub.. Same as sifu chun using...This is the most beautiful haruan i had ever see.. shining dark greenish.. very nice.. mayb due to the brackish water.. but from the pic can't really see the beauty..

Got 3 strike from the tarpon but cant land any of it... when i got the 1st strike i thought i going to land my 1st ever tarpon already.. sadly the palm size tarpon do the acrobatic jumping spit hook.. hehee.. might go revenge the spot again this evening.. hehe..



Sifu Q, i saw this in my late grandmum store.. izzit big enough for you too samcha the fish in kelong? hahahha.. Oh ya, if you going to get the cheap jig jig at Ubob there let me know.. i want some.. hehehe.
