i guess ASN tries their best to keep everyone happy. if they do a 0% stunt, many will just withdraw and it'll cause them some cashflow problem

If you really want the table calendar, you can request for it via email afaik.

Every year ASNB will post to me a table calendar. Perhaps it’s due to i have been investing with them for more than 20 years

yeah man, that goes without saying. In fact, I believe, even if they are making some losses, they would try to give some distribution so people would be happy, this happens with normal UT, but can be adapted by fixed-price UT

The problem is, the distribution given out does not correlate with the NAV/unit price; immediately after distribution is paid out of the fund, the NAV would be reduced accordingly, so the new NAV/unit price should also change. This lack of transparency can be... dangerous to say the least.

Last year I remember someone posted a website showing design of new calendar, so always thought HNWI get different calendars than normal investors
Year end get nothing from the hunt, the pool so so so dry. I think this past 1/2 year didn't even get 5 digit in total

P.S. suddenly got ASM2 hah hah, really must complain then only can get units

i thought as they make profit throughout the year, NAV/unit increase but not reflected because of the fixed price nature. distributing them units brings it closer to $1/unit

No one knows. As for ASB/2, they dont tell you the number of units outstanding (units purchased by the market), so even if we know the NAV (which we do), we would not know what is the true NAV/unit

I am quite sure this applies to the other fixed price units

The only comfort is that PNB-ASN is like semi-government. Otherwise I won't get in.

yeha. but kinda funny that Public Mutual, CWA, (UTMCs) all give you Gold status, starclub status and loads more than some flimsy calendar...

I guess this is good, less frills. No need to waste on unneeded costs

I don't know all of these funds, but Public Mutual charges commission right? So status is indirectly paid with commission.
