the best way to avoid any lawyer , claim fee is to transfer your money to all your beneficiaries before you die, hoping they are not char-siew kids that send you to old folks home once you transfer money to them. (not unheard these days)

Another way is to leave it to your will, which will need a probate and high court order etc to execute your will. This, can take up to 1 to 2 years, from what I heard. It's worse your will is being contested by your next of kin (LOL) or someone make a claim to it, then the entire money in your ASM will be frozen until the disposal and final execution of your will. and if you still have unpaid loan, banks will also make a claim to your estate... which will take time to settle...

This ASM provides a direct transfer in 1-2 months, with some fee la.

and... you already dead at that time, what's 1% fee to your next of kin that receives 99%? I don't they think will complain....

Oh , both ASM1 and ASM3 has additional 1 billion each?

For me, ASNB limit of online 2k withdrawal/month puts a layer of security. Online identity theft and fraud is real these days.

For EPF, some may not be comfortable with activation of online withdrawal... Imagine some scam took hold of both your EPF and Banking credentials... a large sum of money can disappear from EPF over few days.... (scammers transfer money from EPF into savings account, from there, they transfer to mule account)
