This bank that you see, I think it's more for use when you sell your units. For buying units, you use Boost wallet or FPX (can choose from the list of banks like normal FPX transaction).

Confirmed, as in able to try to buy using browser. As for payment I can't answer for sure - I couldn't proceed to FPX anyway as there wasn't any available unit for me to buy.

If you don't get it verified, you cannot buy units using the app. Yes, don't ask me why unverified bank account is an issue when we can only buy units using FPX or boost.

I will be selling off a big chunk of them to fund something. I'm confused as to which fund to sell more, or sell them "equally". The dividend payouts are in April, Sept, Oct iirc.

Q1. The one with April dividend - should I sell more or sell the least? In what way will selling in March affect the dividend amount?

Q2. If I manage to hold till nx month baru sell, should I sell more or less if the fund in Q1?

Q3. If I expect dividend to go up, does it mean I should hold more of the funds with Sep/Oct dividend?

Any thoughts will be appreciated.

Selling online is limited to max RM500 or 3x per month, whichever comes first. Certainly not enough for me as it will take a longgggg time to sell based on RM6k limit per year. I'll be doing the transaction at agent bank, and the money will be credited straight away to my bank account.

Why I said I'm dragging to 1st April is I don't want to lose out on March dividend since it's already 9/3, because dividend per month is supposed to be calculated based on lowest amount you have in the fund per month.

But whatever I'm selling will not make much difference in the market as there are so many people trying to buy, so whatever I sell off will be snapped up by others very fast. It's not like I'm selling millions worth of funds.

The new online limit is indeed RM2k. Still too low for me though.

I'm surprised ASM suddenly has no free units. Up until last month, there were lots of free units. I acah2 tried 30k pun could get easily anytime.

I sold quite a lot of ASM last 2 months precisely due to these excess units in the market, with the aim to buy back once my funds return.
