agree, at 4% sspn seem a better option (4%+1% loyalty, tax relieve) and less hassle (no need to fish).

The problem is not everyone has the ability to generate 15% from equity.

Risk comparison,
ASNB FP is literally like FD, just that hard to get into the party only.
So if risk is = FD, but Reward > FD, for me it is justified.

Btw, I'm from Kedah, willing to travel to Perlis / Penang to do transaction.
Please hit me up / Pm me if anyone interested to let go of unit. Tq

hadn't you thought that it is intentional? imagine people buy and buy and buy and sell at a premium. make it harder to buy, and eventually some will give up, or make the efforts not worthwhile.

yeah... specially when the 1MDB scandal ruptured...
My unker carry 30k cash jokingly say if there is 30k , i wanna sapu all..

The agent say , yeah no problem, here is your 30k AS1M unit.
My uncle face straight become Pokerface ...

I still remember the agent asked , do you want more ? there is approximate 6 Million unit left.
My uncle seriously considering stop topup as he sense like something is wrong LMAO.

Morale value of story : Human never appreciate/ scared of things become too easy , because inner part will say "something's wrong" hahaha

I believe units availabilities are in real time. There is no way to get an accurate availabilities of units since the selling/buying happens so quickly, no software will be able to give an accurate tally.

ETA : By the way, times are getting tough for a lot so unit availabilities seems a bit more open, or could it be just me? Been hitting few ks here and there for the past few days. While I am glad I managed to buy up some units, I empathized with those who had to sell their ASX units to get by.

Recently it is much more easier to get , tbh .

Last year, I could transfer my fund from my ASM1 account to my wife's ASM1 account.  Can we still do this?

Hi All, I have a question fund transfer from say asm1 to asm2. If I do it on the 1st of the month, will I still lose the dividend of the fund that I am transferring?

Rate of dividend is calculated by dividend per annum divide by 12 = monthly rate

monthly rate x (the lowest amount you kept in that month)

well if they dun have extension, if not mistaken they need to give notice , and let us decide to stay with XXX NAV or to withdraw the amount at fixed indicated RM 1 per unit.

My bet is it will continue the same RM 1 per unit ... or else it will be a bank run and ASNB might can't afford that...
Let's say if NAV become RM 0.83, why don't take out RM 1 per unit then buy back at RM 0.83 ? lolz...
I doubt SC wanna create such panic even thou they knew this is a LEGAL ponzi scheme by gomen hahaha

the only thing that they can do is withold distribution to recover the NAV amount. hahaha

But judging like SSPN scenario, they have pressure to declare distribution EVEN they have loss ... just albeit lower rate lo.

We youngsters are paying some premium for liquidity.
EPF for youngsters cant' withdraw to buy house or something, so tbh i accept that part of premium (approximate 1.2-1.5%) to pay for liquidity .

With only 4% dividend, i dont wish to put anymore extra fund into ASNB...

For a quarterlife-crisis bald people like me, i wish to build a solid foundation in risk-free area first.
My initial target will be a 6 digit in ASNB fund.

The recommendation of the bank for the youngster will always be : 6 months life saving (approx 12k and above)
then put it on middle-to high risk such as stockmarket or growth index fund or so on.
That is kinda logical in financial stance.

But truth is, what we can see right now, credit crunch and crisis "usually" longer than 6 month.
I'm working in healthcare setting, i know the cost of "sudden accident".
Hence, i am quite dedicated to build a really solid foundation so that i can totally lost that amount of "middle-to-high risk" money for investment prior to score big.

The 6 digit ASNB fund target is very simple.
Learn like bumi. They loan for 6 digit unit then repay off during the tenure.
I can't do that nor can't loan, hence i actively pumped in.

just my 2c in my planning ~
Hope everyone can reach their FIRE
