QUOTE(nexona88 @ Jan 16 2024, 10:14 AM) Then blame everyone... Investment that can buy with loan.Already gotten ASB which is giving quite high rates over the years... Don't want to use it.. Some smart people use it as high interest investment... Low entry, affordable for everyone... Got 300k guarantee quota... What else these guys want... |

I got a feeling they r releasing more units of ASMx to suck up the excess funds that will otherwise looking to exit out of the country. This extra funds can then be used to spruce up local stock market.

QUOTE(LMC80 @ Apr 1 2024, 10:41 AM) Yes, ASM just payout. So is start counting entire new year for 12 months. That why switch some to ASM, where some comment ASM given more dividend compare to ASM 2 and ASM3. Didnt expect the availability of ASM today otherwise would have switched from ASM3, missed it. Hence, can some one expert/master help to answer my earlier question? Thank you, |

QUOTE(nexona88 @ Apr 12 2024, 02:08 PM) Good plan 😁 How long to enjoy Gxbank 5% interest?ASM 3 dividend should be around the same.... So no surprise that part.... Equities nowadays risks higher.... especially Malaysia one.. Not for faint hearted 😔 One good alternative temporarily is GX bank Raya offering of 5% max 50k 10 pockets |

QUOTE(sweetpea123 @ Apr 18 2024, 11:04 PM) SUPER newbie to ASM. Was at Octobank yesterday and there were agents there. Unlimited purchase of ASM3 and free beneficiary naming which they say will normally charge rm200 woh. Never heard about free Pengisytiharaan Amanah, sometimes they do offer at 100+ normally at 180+. U sure they offer it for free without condition?Anyway, can I equate ASM somewhat like EPF, where any deposit mid-month is not berbaloi? Since there are 700+ pages here, can anyone give me a quick rundown on what a newbie like me need to know. TIA |

QUOTE(nexona88 @ Apr 21 2024, 11:21 AM) That rm180 or rm100 being waived... If a ASMx holder without PA passed away with or without will, the final amount disbursed will not include the prorated dividend after the last FY right? .That's all... Yearly fee & that certain percentage upon distribution is still on & kicking strong... ASNB not doing charity businesses.... It's profit organization 🤑💰 Say u have 1m+ ASM, n died late 2024, after few months but b4 1April2025 money will be disbursed to u without the prorated dividend? What if got PA, when the units r transfered to beneficiaries will it include those prorated dividends in units? This post has been edited by MGM: Apr 21 2024, 01:15 PM |

QUOTE(nexona88 @ Apr 22 2024, 09:55 PM) Weird... Another privilege?Normally they would sell the units & cash given to beneficiary.... Since didn't take up their services... Seems like it's now case on case basis... Can negotiate & given as units.... This post has been edited by MGM: Apr 22 2024, 11:10 PM |

QUOTE(coolguy_0925 @ Apr 22 2024, 10:26 PM) My guess If cash out n repurchase then will lose out the dividend partially, from current FY to cashout date.Since it is ASB As long as the beneficiary's balance is still not hitting RM300k and with the addition also won't hit, just treat it as cash out and repurchase IF ASM then probably follow what was stated Confirmed privilege if the units transfered r predated to the beginning of current FY.
