Actually i am quite surprise MYR is rather resilient even without raising rate along with USD, this could be reason for no rate hike to appease debtors n biz.

QUOTE(Wolves @ Feb 5 2023, 07:22 AM) I am sure you can unlink it if you feel so strongly about it but asnb can only been withdrawn to your registered account in asnb. It must be under your name and verified in asnb (without you going to the counter in rhb). And if you have phone number registered to asnb then you should get a notification when it happen (if ever) Same as your money in rhb bank account. Technically you have some time before somebody can withdraw. It also does not appear under regular savings. It should only appear at the wealth/investment part. So you got some time to react to it. But if you feel unsafe then unlink it. Are u sure that bank can access our wealth/investment info if they r linked, cos the last time i asked they say no.And you think the bank ppl cannot see it? 😂 They probably have a copy somewhere before forced unlink. They know how much you have la uncle. Plus pagoda shirt is signs of rich ppl one. Those wearing normal ragged shirt, shorts or long pants and slippers usually hidden dragon crouching tiger one. Plus they look at your ctos and pay slip more. Unless you want apply black card or platinum, then i doubt they need see how much you have lo. |

QUOTE(nexona88 @ Feb 5 2023, 11:38 AM) Don't trust them 100% No wonder a bank offered me a premium CC without proof of income or documents.I'm kinda sure they got some information... Not 100% of your total wealth... But somehow partially 😏 Especially for ASNB (if agent banks)... And u got CASA with them... nexona88 liked this post

QUOTE(MGM @ Jan 19 2023, 12:01 PM) Based on my rough calculation for 12 years from 2010 to 2021: Sorry there were some wrong calculation previously. Hope the updated one below is accurate.EPF dividend earned was 103% (compound) ASM1 - 95% USD vs MYR (3.40-4.20) - 24% EPF only overtook ASM1 in 2019 for the accumulated earnings during this period. ![]() |

May be coming budget allows 200k self contribution for 3 months n then b4 election allows withdrawal by b40. If half of those epf members with >1mil take up the offer there will be 48billion add into epf, more than enough for withdrawal. Actually SGD has been going up against all major currencies. Would it stop appreciating when it is no longer competitive to do so?

QUOTE(nexona88 @ Mar 8 2023, 06:33 PM) hmm... I also dump ASM3 only cos it was easy to accumulate n was 90% of all my ASMx, now still 70%. ASM2 n Asm3 not much diff.my understandings.... 1 - EPF 2. ASM 1 3. ASM 2 4. ASM 3 so basically EPF top them all correct??? No wonder people dump ASM 3 first This post has been edited by MGM: Mar 8 2023, 07:13 PM nexona88 liked this post

QUOTE(lowyat101 @ Mar 14 2023, 08:06 AM) i see, may i know if there's any limit for OTC method? Yes bring ic for authentification, I think no limit if you transfer the withdrawal to an acc with the bank, not sure about cash.also since it's an online account, i guess i just need to bring aong my IC for the sell back right? thanks lowyat101 liked this post

QUOTE(MattSally @ Mar 23 2023, 08:29 PM) The Fed increased rates yesterday, UK has just done the same today and the ECB also increased rates last week. The spread between OPR and other countries rates has widened by 0.75% in the last few weeks and if BNM does not react to that then Malaysia is going to have some very expensive imports and an even weaker currency. Somehow it didnt work that way, MYR seems to be quite resilient while others r increasing rates. |

QUOTE(MattSally @ Mar 30 2023, 12:52 PM) Maybe my RM wasn't so far out after all when he predicted 5.0% across ASM funds this year. Another OPR rise and another 6 months of decent fund performance and who knows what ASM2 ASM3 can deliver - maybe with the help of some more PNB 'magic.' If OPR increases in 2nd half after election, then may be ASM2 & 3 might be 5%, better than ASM1. |

QUOTE(lucifah @ Mar 31 2023, 10:22 AM) additional 5b units will be released, but u able to buy it or not... depends on your luck i guess... I tot AS1M tak laku pun, i remember can take own sweet time to buy. I switched all fd to this.units available, myasnb down units available, FPX down myasnb ok, fpx ok, units sudah habis remember, back in 2009, AS1M sold RM980m units in less than 3.5 hours after bank opens and that's without myASNB where people queue like what nexona said, ask maid to queue at 3 or 4am... |
