If total assets less than RM2mil no need let lawyer dig just go to Pejabat Tanah later to settle. Minor fee, but be prepared to wait for some time.

Pejabat Tanah has the power to issue letter for distribution of estate, but not for the rich (Total assets not more than RM2mil)

Nobody knows for sure but I think another 2 lots of 0.25% by January meeting of 2023 is highly likely as a minimum. The political and financial commentators in UK are all predicting a full 1% hike in UK rates November 3rd, USA and EU are expected to do something similar. If BNM doesn't do something to protect the Ringgit if that happens we will be looking at around 4.5 Ringgit to the GB Pound (caused by the weak pound) but over 5 Ringgit to the US $. Yes, the US $ could achieve better than parity with UK Pound imho. The UK Pound is a good buy at the moment purely because it is in even more trouble than the Ringgit.

I had a long conversation with our RM at Maybank today. He is absolutely convinced that ASMx returns will recover to >5% in 2023. Based on his very genuine opinion we have decided to remain fully invested in ASMx products - while keeping a careful eye on Funds performance of course. Next one to watch is ASB return 31/12/22.

So, sorry to disappoint anyone who thought there might be an opportunity for fishing today. We had every intention of withdrawing a substantial sum but will keep it invested for now.
