anyone put fix amt of money into ASNB each mth?
best way to put fund in is through the ASNB app/web or Bank auto debit/transfer?
*
I don't do it every month but I always use the ASNB Web Page and I have never had a problem. New investment is updated immediately.

Ahhh...

Just as I speculated...

Status Quo @ 4.75%

Foregone conclusion that ASM 3 also would be status quo @ 4.75%

And the final winner is ASM 1 @ 5%
*
Yes, agreed that ASM3 dividend will almost certainly be 4.75% as well so the big question then becomes the ASB1 dividend 31/12/25. It was 5.75% last year and we need at least the same this year, hopefully 6.0%.

Looking at ASB 3...
Very highly possible of same rates as last year... Or maybe 0.05% higher 😁
*
5.8% could still be regarded as yoy progress. What I don’t want to see is ASBx dividends stabilising below 6% or ASMx dividends stabilising below 5%.

Should be... 4.8%
*
We were talking about ASB1 dividend so 5.8% would be correct.

But, yes, 4.8% for ASM2, ASM3 would have kept some small progress alive.

ASM3 also same same 4.75% ?
*
Very likely to also be 4.75%. I think the markets are adjusting to the geo political events of the early part of this year. I am hopeful (and reasonably confident) of the recovery continuing in 2026, but not in a spectacular way. I think 5% for ASM2/3 next year, 5.25% for ASM1 would be reasonable to expect. For those with ASBx funds I think 6% for ASB1 (Dec 2026) is reasonable to expect and maybe 5.5% for ASB2/3.

But where else are you going to get this level of return with very low risk to your capital and 100% withdrawal availability?

Not bad...

Was expecting Zero because of PH & banks all closed

I just tried to switch some units from ASM2 to ASB3 but no units available.

You got some logical point there.... SARA $$ could be partly from all these tax imposed too.....

Anyway next week or so...
We could see some units available....
As people start to withdraw some $$$....

Those want to buy... Can keep trying πŸ™
*
I am sitting tight on my ASB/ASM funds to the end of the year I think. ASM3 and ASB1 dividends will be a decent indicator of how all ASNB funds will cope with the geo political situation in the future. Right now, I would settle for the same as last year, 4.75% for ASM3 and 5.75% for ASB1, with a 0.25% improvement on all funds for next year.

So you're telling me that ASM 1 dividend would dropped like to 4.75% & the other 2 ASMx to 4.5% like that????

Woah.... Really incompetent people around........
But still.... Their selling point.... Still above FD rates yo πŸ˜œπŸ˜„πŸ€£
*
My own feeling is that whatever is necessary to ensure that 2026 dividends are at least as good as 2025 will be done so as to β€˜protect the recovery’ and to keep ASNB funds attractive to investors - even if the returns are not spectacular they can be marketed as competitive and reliable.

One problem with our Bursa Malaysia is it's being heavy on Local funds... Few of them control the majority... It's not like those developed countries one..  high liquidity & participating from various categories... From retail to institutions funds & organization......
*
Agreed but it is steadily nudging its way back to 1600. I am trying to remain cautiously optimistic and believe that the recovery will continue.

Thanks partly to Trump & US side....

It's not looking good there.... So somehow, Bursa is benefiting partly....

Why partly??? Not fully...
It's our own doing.... Especially certain people doing that make Malaysia like "unstable" & certain restrictions imposed.... Which is disliked by those foreign investors & fund managers..... That's why slapped with 19% & not lower....
*
Also agreed but I think that both Malaysia and the ASNB Funds are big enough to survive and thrive.

4.75% because KLCI past 1 month didn't go far

Couldn't even sustain 1600 for more than 2 days
*
There may be more room for ASM3 dividends to be increased from reserves as I believe it is a slightly smaller fund than ASM2.

But I am inclined to agree and think that it will be 4.75%.

Multiple factor actually.... Not purely on KLCI only...

Their payout ratio also play role... See how much reserve is kept & c/frwd to next FY....

My speculation is.... For 2026

ASM 1 - 5% @ maintain

ASM 2 & 3 - 5% @ increase from 4.75%

ASNB cannot afford to reduce the dividend number.... It's give them bad publicity....

So it's either maintain or increase.... Y-o-Y
*
I could live with those numbers. But I also think it is important that ASB1 'punches' its way to at least 6% this December to give hope to all that the recovery will continue for all ASNB FP funds.

It's more like another smaller U turn...

From initial 85% to current 100% 🀣

I can sort of see the logic. Well off people buy more fuel per month so it’s easier to limit the subsidy by amount of petrol bought than by trying to distinguish between different economic groups. How many km will you go on 300 litres of petrol in a good car that can use it?

Edited to say I have just worked it out for our car and it is around 2500km which does seem rather generous.

Back on topic - still cautiously optimistic of 5% but expecting 4.75%.

Guys any advice when is the best time to purchase for units? Like which month or which day of the month? Thanks.
*
Purchase on the first or last day of the month if you can to avoid loss of interest. But most people wanting to buy will be trying to do the same so unit availability may be an issue.

You could also try on the 1st of a month when a dividend has just been paid as some people will be withdrawing the dividends which will free up units for sale. Eg, try to buy ASM3 units 1/10/25.

Those whom sold ASM 3 at this point must be very desperate for $$$$ or they found something else which can give way higher returns & can easily cover whatever "losses incurred" by selling off ASM 3 now..... πŸ”₯πŸ’ͺπŸ’΅πŸ€‘
*
Agreed. There can't be a worse time to sell any units other than a few days before the end of the month in which the dividend will be declared.

when will we receive asm3 dividend?

Dividend should be declared Monday or Tuesday and, as Nexona88 quite rightly says, it will be credited to your account in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Hopefully not...

I'm expecting status quo like ASM 2... And increase to 5% in FY26 πŸ™

I think that is a reasonable expectation.

As expected. I understand the slight disappointment but against the backdrop of geo political shocks earlier this year I think it is just acceptable. My math indicates that just over RM14 million of the dividend has been paid from reserves with actual fund performance being something like 4.67%.

The important thing now is that ASB1 declares at least 5.75% at the end of December 2025 (same as last year) and that the recovery continues (after the 2025 brief pause) into 2026. I think it is reasonable to expect 5% for all ASM FP Funds in 2026 and almost 6% (at least 5.75%) for ASB2/3 with at least 6% for ASB1.
