BTW....this kind of speed should no problem for skype...right? biggrin.gif

oh, modem like pen drive size....small and easy to carry....
BTW, will it super hot if running 24 hours?....

no idea about skype...as Im still waiting DiGi activate my line... doh.gif

any electric items will get hot if don't have proper cooling/air flow system/environment smile.gif

im at uitm lendu melaka.
here i got 460.8kbps.
i used nokia n73, and connect by cable via nokia pc suite..
soooo fast....

so if without this iPAQ512, then can how to online?... need use any hp with EDGE, then can online liao? .... right?

What I been told, the Rm149.00 package is no voice, thus they give Samba 75.

Its really up to your choice, for me..i prefer voice together smile.gif

Yes, u just put yr simcard in any edge enable phone, then shld be ok. But got rumors said nokia phone will perform better.

If u subscribe 161.5 package, then u will get voice plan besides data plan. RM50 free voice charge for first 6 months will be given. 149.5 package i not sure got voice plan or not. 124 package definitely dun hv.

IMHO, 200kbps is possible to achieve but 400kbps+++ is almost ridiculous. the max dl speed for n73 is 236.8kbps only.

OMG!!! Im just use fring VOIP call SkYPE & MSN, its as good as I tested my P990i at starbuck's Wifi !!! laugh.gif rclxms.gif rclxms.gif thumbup.gif

the signal bar full is 9 bars, on my iPAQ i got 6-7 bars outdoor, but inside my office, it get 2 bars only


DiGi edge isn't weak...hehe.. at least i dint make the wrong choice go for home broadband kiki brows.gif brows.gif

ah...dont expect EDGE could provide you that high speed (in my term, above 500kbps)

as our usual EDGE hardware the highest I saw is Nokia N93i, which Class 12 at 29x.x kbps..

so, EDGE network just enough for your web surfing+IM+ light download.


gee.... my calculation is correct, Rm24 (1488-899-300=289/12) monthly for portable anywhere anytime connection for me is quite happy. biggrin.gif

1) EDGE network will consume much lesser phone battery than 3G even average for my test 162-233kbps smile.gif

2) VOIP is a big bonus from this package biggrin.gif

3) I always anti tm+tmnut (imagine the rm24, just enough for phone line rental? sweat.gif)

That is NOT the true speed. I can even show the connection at 921.6 blush.gif Try to use www.speedtest.net and test your speed. That would tell you the TRUE speed dude.
